You, my friend, have the insight to see what a great victory tonight was for the good guys. An Obama endorsement is the kiss of death politically. The Critz/Burns contest means little. As we move through the primary season we will see more indicators of the “Obama” touch taking down Democrats. Examples:
- Virginia
- New Jersey
- Massachusetts
- Pennsylvania
- Arkansas
- Kentucky
If the Democrat Party had any brains they would force Obama to resign or impeach him. Me, I cannot wait for November, 2010 to come. Political Bloodbath time for the “Obama” Democrat Party

This is on Critz’s web page:

“Mark’s conservative Democratic values are representative of the Pennsylvania 12th Congressional District. Mark is Pro Life, a supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights, a fervent believer in a strong national defense and a supporter of creating an atmosphere in which small business can flourish.”

Yes, he won, but he’s not running as a Democrat.

Bill Russell should have been in this race.

McCain won this district in 2008. Republicans should have won this one. It looks like 2010 will not be another 1994.
Michael Steele needs to go.

Hildy, check my post 22.

I never believe these Dems who say they are conservative, but people do, unfortunately. This guy says he’s pro life, pro second amendment, pro business. I even heard Hannity say tonight Critz says he would have voted against the HC bill (eyes roll here).

So in a strong Dem district I’m not surprised at all.

they said Murtha was conservative too...

rats have showed their true colors....they've supported a bill they will enslave every American for health "care", phoney baloney bailouts, quadrupled deficit spending..cap and trade coming down the road as well as more immigration "reform"....

no Dims ever!

He’s running as a pro-gun, pro-life, democrat...it’s kind of an oxymoron. Unless he’s trying to bring back the democrats of the 1800’s

Not quite... Some exist. Oliverio (who just knocked off Mollohan in West Virginia) is one. In fact, Oliverio already votes with the Republicans in the WV Legislature. It was a running joke that he should have been running as a Republican. He’s already said he won’t vote for Pelosi as Speaker, and most think he will switch parties if the GOP takes the House.

You forgot to post a sarcasm alert. THERE ARE NO CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRATS. There are all Obamabots.

No matter. Critz was Murtha’s top guy and the people in that district don’t want the money train to stop. It’s as simple as that. They’re fat, lazy and addicted to free federal handouts and the only way that continues is to continue Murtha’s line. And besides...once again the Republican establishment ran their own guy who was widely regarded as a RINO. We have plenty of momentum heading into November, we can’t afford to get cocky and maybe we should run a little scared...it would be good for us.
