Administrators at a California high school sent five students home on Wednesday after they refused to remove their American Flag T-shirts and bandannas -- garments the school officials deemed "incendiary" on Cinco de Mayo.
The five teens were sitting at a table outside Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., on Wednesday morning when Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked two of them to remove their American flag bandannas, the Morgan Hill Times reports. The boys told the newspaper they complied, but were asked to accompany Rodriguez to the principal's office.

racist profiling he needs to be charged with a hate crime
I have to wonder if she would suspend students for wearing T-shirts with foreign flags on July 4th.
I’ve tried calling, can’t even leave a message!
Senor Rodriguez confused about what country he’s working in? How about the rights of the five teens who wore the shirts? Talk about violations of their citizenship rights...
Everyone -
Call Live Oak Vice Principal Miguel Rodriguez at:

This is America!
But the whole idea is that it was a BANDANA, the Mexican symbol of gangs, I don’t think it was a wrong call. Flags are to be respected, not to be used to make bikini bras’ and bandanas. He was within his rights.
The school missed an opportunity (or “teaching-moment,” that the Left so value) for a lesson on the First Amendment.
Oh wait, they don’t teach the Constitution in public schools anymore. Never mind.
The message is clear!....Public education is a disaster!
They should sue the pants off the school and each and every particular individual who ordered them to remove clothing or get suspended. These people are paid by American taxpayers who expect their American children to be given their freedoms under our Constitution at ALL times. Teachers/principals should face individual charges and not be allowed to fall back on their unions for unwarranted security. Our various American organizations should also bring lawsuits so this won’t continue. The individual teachers should pay the price so that in the future individual teachers won’t take it upon themselves so easily to deny rights to students without fears of opposition according to the law.
Read the whole article. The students were then told to wear their USA flag tee-shirts inside out. Considering that to be disrespectful to the American flag, they chose instead to be sent home.
“Freshman Laura Ponce, who had a Mexican flag painted on her face and chest, told the Morgan Hill Times that Cinco de Mayo is the “only day” Mexican-American students can show their national pride.”
O RLY? Looks like there are plenty of days to choose from...

I know for sure that I'd be pronouncing his surname as 'Rod-Rih-Gwezz' within earshot of him for the rest of my days at that school.
Perhaps you should a little more in detail: “Galli says he and his friends were sitting at a table during brunch break when the vice principal asked two of the boys to remove American flag bandannas that they wearing on their heads and for the others to turn their American flag T-shirts inside out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal’s office.”
Its the shirts thats the issue - I’m sure any bandanas are restricted by the dress code, I dont think American Flag shirts are.
Response: Figures.
Comment: I wish the American people had the spiritual strength to go to this school, strip this clown naked and waltz him to the Mexican border. The type of conduct engaged in by this vermin has to end. This Mexican's conduct is the logical result of corrupt politicians pandering to aliens-with which they share an ideology. This individual is a MEXICAN NOT an American.
If the schools are going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, they should also celebrate Veintiuno de Abril.
evil, evil American flag.
They should CANCEL ALL MEXICAN HOLIDAYS, This is American not Mexico. IF the Mexicans don’t like it, they can go home to THEIR COUNTRY.
