Dear Supporters of Sarah Palin:

Folks, there has been a lot of hostility back and forth on the subject of Sarah Palin. Some of the barbs against Sarah I don't particularly care for. Some of the defenses of her are equally offensive.

I like Sarah. I think she has been accosted by the media in unfair ways. She has been attacked by the left in ways that resemble the take-down of Congressman Tom Delay. She has been belittled and dismissed by people who "say they" get very angry at the thought of the corporate glass ceiling. The Today show, the leftist dominated talking head shows, the leftist media, the leftist academics, have deemed Sarah an inferior being because she has expressed differences of opinion with them. Yes, only they have first amendment rights these days.

We saw the same thing with Vice-President Dan Quayle. The same people from the left who trash our players, including Reagan ("an ignorant old dolt"), George Bush ("a dumb person"), Bob Dole ("another old dumb person"), and George Bush ("an bumbling fool unfit for the office"). This didn't start with these men. Gerald Ford was deemed a bumbling fool, even though he played college football. Nixon was a crook, but of course Clinton was pure as the driven snow. He was just a victim.

Then you have the Left loft people like Carter, Gore, Kerry, Clinton, and Obama as their standard bearers. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. And the media and academia play along with the same play-book. McCarthy took them down once, and the nation was told that it should never again see anti-Americanism for what it is. When the left trashes capitalism, trashes, the very structure of our government saying the Supreme Court must be dealt with, and taking measures to hobble our economic system and our military preparedness, not to mention stiffling any dissenting opinion, we are supposed to shut up and allow them to dismantle the very core of our nation.

I don't know about you, but this infuriates me. Why? Because we have a group of people who through consumate ignorance or by grand design have determined how to take our nation down, and they are in the process of doing it. And sadly, they are doing it without objection.

"What?", you say, "...our people are objecting." No folks. They are not objecting. When the Left objects, we see action, angry words, and an all out no holds bared effort to end what they object to. Have you seen anything like that out of our team over the last twenty years? No. And if you think that is bad, it's really going to pain you to understand that we have dismantled more than half the Navy Ronald Reagan left us with. We have downsized our active troop levels. Much of this was done under the watch of Republican presidents. And that wasn't all they did that was negative to our point of view.

I'm not going to rattle it off for you. If you don't know by now, it's pointless for me to mention these things. The defenses go up and the name calling begins just like it has on this thread. "How care you say something negative about my hero." Screw the nation, let's just not confront the painless truth. Better to watch our nation dismantled by people on our side of the isle, than be brutally truthful and stop this nonsense, turn it around and get back to the nation we were gifted with by our grand-parents and parents. Well folks, how is that working out...

Some of you can't understand why any Conservative would say something unflattering against Sarah Palin. I know it pains you when we do. Like I said, I like Sarah, but I am not going to stand by and watch her support people like John McCain and Carly Fiorina without saying that I disagree, and that her continued support of severely flawed Republicans has caused me to drop my support for her. I am now looking for someone else to support.

Okay, at least some of you could understand why I am angered by the left when it lies to us about it's motivies and it's players. We get angry about them telling us we shouldn't have a voice in which direction this nation should head from here. And yet... and yet... and yet we have players here on this forum that get very very very angry if truth is expressed about the negative impact of defeating people that are better than the people Sarah Palin has come out in support of. And they get very very angry if folks say that this has shaken their faith in Sarah Palin being the Conservative they had hoped she would be.

We don't like it when the Left lies to us. We don't like it when the Left tells us we can't voice an opinion. We don't like it when we do express truth, and are called anti-American. But bring up one of our own fair haired people we have fallen in love with both physically and politically (no matter what they do), and it's suddenly okay to behave just like the left. It's suddenly okay to make excuse after excuse to shore up support for someone who is not in tune with true Conservatism enough to stop harming their own political future. It's suddenly okay to say they did nothing wrong. It's suddenly okay to call those who stand up and express the truth, liars, leftists, Democrat disrupters, or any other insult that comes to mind, including anti-American.

Folks, nearly all of us are very angry at the destruction being leveled on this nation. Sadly only some of us are angry for what our side has contributed toward that effort. If it's George Bush who did something unseemly, you just don't want to hear it. If it's Sarah Palin who supports people who have hurt our cause immeasurably and will continue to do so, you just don't want to hear it. And so it is, that some people would rather act just like Democrats than get the Republican party back on track. And so it is that they make every excuse in the book to back people who should never be given the reigns of power.

Tell me, if I pick up a gun and destroy your relative, will you give me another chance? And yet we have politicians who pick up a pen and destroy our nation, and you make every excuse in the book to make sure they remain armed against us with that pen in positions of power. And right now, if you have even bothered to read this far, you have an excuse why my words mean nothing and your support of someone who has, is, and will do the wrong thing, deserves your support. Why? In some instances the reason is so damned flimsey, it's nothing more than that you happen to like them.

We cannot continue to send Democrats and their allies back to Congress. Our nation is on the verge of destruction, and we can no longer play with the margins. You can blame me for the ills of the nation if you like, but we have tried your way for my whole life. How is that working out for us?

How about trying the way of folks who are purists for a change? How about instructing our side to start playing hardball, just like our enemies. How about asking our side to actually load some ink into their pens, so we can engage, and turn back the left? How about addressing the Leftist monopoly in the media? How about addressing the Leftist monopoly on our campuses? How about defending our nation against those who are trying to remove religions from our public arena? How about bringing a Justice Department law suit against the ACLU for only targeting cases that are destructive to our way of life?

There is more that we can do, than what we have been doing. We can loft concentrated efforts too. Our party can be a party that calls it's supporters to attention like the left does. Our party could rally ten million people to Washington, D.C., if it had the balls to. So when I and others say something you really don't like, please try to use that thinking cap of yours. Defense of the indefenseless is no longer an option. No more support for RINOs will be tollerated. The days of going along to get along, because someone is pretty or looks good in his stetson or says the right things part of the time and then blows it big-time other parts of the time, are done. They're over.

Either that or our nation is. Either you're a full-time patriot and the people you support are full-time patriots, or you're not a patriot at all, because the folks you support are helping the left destroy us, at least part time.

I for one U.S. Citizen, will no longer stand still for that type of luke warm destructive behavior. I'm here to help any true Conservative, but I'll be damned if I'll support anyone who doesn't have a clue any longer. Period.
