It’s not just water...it’s anything in his stomach right now. No ice chips, no water, no popcicles. Unless the doctor does rounds this afternoon and says he can have something, he has to wait until tomorrow, which is an eternity to him right now.
The thirst for water is a good sign of inner strength.
Prayers for Jeff and yourself up and out.
May water and popsickles quench his thirst soon.
I was in ICU a few years ago and apparently begged and begged a nurse for a ginger ale. She sneaked me a sip and I threw up for half an hour.
Tell him it is worth the wait.
Oh, my! That is difficult, and to not be able to even doze off to sleep to get his mind off of it!
Hopefully, the doc will tell him he can have something to alleviate his misery this afternoon. I pray so.
Tomorrow can’t come soon enough! How wonderful that first sip of water is going to be!
Thank you Gail for all the updates. You are the best! (AND a FREEPER too!!!)
You both remain in my prayers each night.
My dear Gail. I have been away for a short while and just today got back to a computer. I looked for an update on Jeff but didn’t find one for the last week. I pray all is going well. My very best to you both.
