It's always nice to go away. You get to take stock of what you've been doing and make promises to yourself that this time -- for real -- you're going to eat right, exercise, cut back on the martinis (ahem) and focus on the important stuff. And then you come home to a story so delicious that you can't resist putting off the important stuff for a little while longer.
I'm talking about the utterly ridiculous law that would allow Hawaiian state officials to ignore repeated requests for President Obama's birth certificate. That the Aloha State felt compelled to do this shows how it has been inundated with requests from folks out there who lack the ability to focus on what really matters. Come on, people! Obama was born in the United States. His mother was American, to boot. Get over it.
The Los Angeles Times blog, Top of the Ticket, does a great service by highlighting this news. It reprints in glorious color Obama's Certificate of Live Birth. The post also notes that twice since 2008, the state's health director has publicly vouched for the existence and the authenticity of the actual birth certificate.(continued)

Typo?
Sun Yat-sen: Certification of Live Birth in Hawaii
The named individual was actually born in China....specifically, in the village of Cuiheng, Xiangshan (later Zhongshan) county, Guangzhou prefecture, Guangdong province (26 km or 16 miles north of Macau).
The natural born citizen clause cannot be changed or modified by any written laws after the Founders established the Constitution.
Congress can make different types of citizens..but they cant touch natural born citizen. No new law can change it.
This includes the 14th Amendment making Negroes citizens.
Natural born is a citizen not made by Law..any laws made by man cannot touch it..
Maybe I finally figured it out..and understand why the words NBC were written.
This needs more research..

I really doubt any of those Negroes affected by the 14th are Barry's Dad.
Yep -- none of them are capable of getting the phrase "natural born citizen" out of their mouths. They talk all around it and all around his Kenyan/British father who passed his Kenyan/British citizenship to his son.
It is natural law to be born from two parents. They were made citizens when the constitution was established.
the new born..were natural born citizens born from two US citizens the constitution created.
it is not worded very well..but..it is a start..
Nice of them to use a picture of his daddy!!! ;-)
Come on, Capehart, SHOW US.
My what a big banana you have!

This is really pretty simple based on Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution requiring that the POTUS must be a Natural Born U.S. Citizen:
Born on American Soil (1 point)
Both parents are U.S. Citizens (1 point)
1+1=2 (qualified to be POTUS)
We know that OBAMA Sr. was a British Citizen so it does not matter where OBAMA Jr. was born because 1+0 is not equal to 2!
booooo to him too
Someone needs to call a plumber-the Obot talking points have overloaded the sewer system and it’s backing up.
I am a unconvinced birther.
Show me the Kenyan’s birth certificate.
Show me the Kenyan’s Occidental college records.
Hey, BO and his minions say that illegals are americans but that doesn’t make it so.
He may be an american but hiding the records, obfuscating and refusing to clear up the matter immediately only serves to make his eligibility look suspicious.
Just the fact that he is hiding something makes me lean toward believing he is not eligible by birth.
