I certainly hope so.
I would doubt it very much.
In this state, your better off not giving a reason for a firing.
The article points out how this action is no different than Hollywood blacklisting actors who have conservative leanings. Of course, that sort of thing never makes news.
please, please make this true. please?
...no, he was caught exercising his Wrights to hope and change
If the boss is going under, its likely to be Zero’s fault...one of his “backers” would be the guy I zeroed in on...if you know what I mean..and why not? Is there an anti-political bias law now?
This is entirely appropriate in my opinion. He saw rising costs, rising regulation, and rising taxes. He had to cut an employee, so he chose to cut the employee who was partly responsible for the situation.
From the link:
Last Friday, someone going by the name “dermdoc” posted a thread on a message board for the Texas A&M football team with this topic: “Laid off my first Obama voting employee today.”
“Our reimbursement rates are spiraling downward, taxes are projected to go up with Obamacare, so I did it,” the person wrote. He later added: “I made this decision because I can.”
“It is kind of interesting watching their face as you explain to them the economic consequences of the policies of the guy they voted for,” wrote dermdoc.
Hotsheet reached out to the person who we believe to have been responsible for the posting, but our requests for comment went unanswered. Late Wednesday afternoon, after Hotsheet’s inquiry, the thread appeared to be removed from the TexAgs.com Web site.

Consequences....refreshing
...goes to character of the witness, your Honor.
Objection overruled.
If he was an obama voter, the odds are that he was not doing a good job. Of the few I personally know, nearly all of them are truly morons.
In the same spirit, it is still a free country for the employer as well. If this guy voted for the policies (adminstration) that caused the needed lay off then this is entirely appropriate not to mention a wonderful lesson in unintended consequences.
How did the boss even know that this employee voted for Obama unless the employee told him so?
So do I. It seems well deserved to me.
If someone had to be laid-off due to worsening economics, it makes sense to lay-off someone who contributed to it.
From the article:
“And what a lot of you guys and gals don’t seem to understand is that as long as I make the money, pay the bills, pay the taxes, pay the salaries, assume all the legal liability, etc., that I can do just about what I want to(as can every other business owner in the US),” he added. “And that is what really, really pisses of Obama and his minions. Unintended consequences are a beeyatch.”
would it make him feel better if he was hanged!
Sounds a lot like the story that was going around before the election. It was a cute little joke back then.
