Who does CBS want for the 2012 Republican presidential candidate? They got their wish with McCain in 2008.

When McCain won the nomination, the news media did cartwheels, they got what they wanted.

I’m more defined by who I DON’T want to be candidates: McCain, Guiliani, Romney, Gingrich, Steele, ...

There was no button for “Don’t give a damn”.

Let’s deal with 2010 before we let the Donks start demonizing a candidate for 2012.

At this point, I like Pawlenty, but I’ll probably change my mind five times by next year.

One thing is for sure, I would crawl over broken glass to vote for a dead dog lying in the middle of the road if he was running against Barack Obama.

The person we need still has not risen IMO. The nature of politics keeps anyone with convictions vilified, so who ever it will be will be a relative newcomer.

I hope we get one, because Obama sucks bigger than a commercial electrolux.

Yep, way too early. I think it’s best to focus on grass-roots movements to advance core conservative principles rather than on individuals. The latter can let one down. ...and very often do.

I wanted Barbour to run in '08, but to his credit, he wanted to see his state's recovery from Katria through. Thompson was my second choice from those who had declared. He never got off the ground.

I think they'd make a good ticket, but Fred's gonna be 70 in 2012 and I don't know if he's interested any longer. His full interest didn't seem to be there 2 years ago.

They are just trying to sway stuff, IMHO as they will do with their polls that will be right around the corner..

Bobby Jindal is NOT eligible to hold the office of POTUS. He is NOT a natural born citizen as both his parents were NOT U.S. citizens at the time of his birth in Louisianna.

I will raise a minimum of $2 million dollars for Governor Sarah Palin should she decide to run for president.

He also looks like he is 6 years old. Please no! Why is he even being talked about?

what?
Bobby Jindal was born in Louisiana, which does make him a natural born citizen per the Fourteenth Amendment and eligible to be President or Vice President. The requirement for parents to be U.S. citizens applies only to those born outside of the U.S.

The Ron Paul kids must be surfing the net while the rest of us are too busy working to do a CBS poll.
