President Obama and his liberal cohorts in the Congress have come up with an ingenious new twist on the age old liberal principle of tax and spend. They realize that higher taxes would be politically unpopular and so have concluded a frontal assault on the American taxpayer would not be wise. Instead they have embarked on a bold plan to spend more money than any other Congress in the history of the United States; money we dont have. After racking up a massive debt and driving the nation to the brink of bankruptcy the trap will be sprung. They will claim that higher taxes are the only way out. Its a clever plan and it just might work...

It stops with ‘pay as you go’. No more borrowing.

Anyone who understand debt and the demand it has on future economic opportunities, realizes action needs to be taken now!

This mindset drives me nuts, as I'm sure it does you. When you're tied to the railroad tracks, and you can see the train approaching, you don't need some idiot saying, "Well, why are you trying to free yourself? You haven't been hit by the train." Grrrrr
I think that we should eliminate pensions for any congressman or senator who vote for budgets that run deficits for a majority of their time in office. This will let them feel some of the pain they are inflicting on the rest of us.

The government has a plan to get us out of debt without raising taxes. It’s the same plan commonly used by a lot of Americans - they’re going to win the lottery.
Until we find a way to break up the conflict of interest between public employee unions and democrat politicians, we are going to spiral down to third world living standards.
