Republican Mike Castle doesn't support repeal of health care (his opponent does)

Republican Congressman, Mike Castle, doesn't support repealing ObamaCare. He is running for Joe Biden's old US Senate seat this November. All polls show Castle has a huge lead over any Democrat. Delaware conservatives need to join together to defeat this RINO in the primaries!

Delaware politics: Castle won't join GOP effort to repeal health law Rep. Mike Castle of Delaware voted with other Republicans against health care reform legislation, but he isn't joining his party's call to repeal the bill.

I received this message in an email from Castle's conservative opponent, Christine O'Donnell.

Mike Castle, RINO candidate for the Senate in Delaware, just thumbed his nose at you, America's patriots. He said he opposed efforts like mine to repeal ObamaCare as futile.

The AP broke a major story not even 24 hours ago:

"While this president is in office, repealing this full law is not realistic and not the best use of our efforts," he said in a statement.

Trust me, if we keep sending Mike Castle-types to the Senate nothing will ever change. But if we send enough people like me, then sooner rather than later everything will start changing . . . for the better.

We - you and I - want our America back, but I need your help!

About repeal of the health bill, my opponent Castle is saying we should wave a white flag. No, we need to unfurl our American flags and help lead a national crusade to end ObamaCare . . . and end the assault on our liberties.

When the Lords of the Backroom - the career politicians in Washington - are shoving a rancid health bill down our throats, Mike Castle's timid response is, "Well, let's just swallow it."

My response is far different. I say kick down those backroom doors, shine a bright light on the corrupt people inside, and spit out this abomination of a health bill.

I pledge to follow the example of true Republicans leaders like Jim DeMint and Judd Gregg. I will help them drive a stake through the heart of the health bill monster.

Unlike Castle, I will never surrender. I will never accept this travesty known as ObamaCare.

I will vote to repeal and replace!

Mike Castle has rarely met a special interest group he won't sell out to. In my case, I reply on you, American patriots, for the donations I need to fight the battle to repeal healthcare . . . and to oppose the rest of Obama's socialist agenda.

I'm a proven vote-getter among Delaware Republicans. If you help me, I can beat Mike Castle, and he knows it. He's running scared.

Help me to help our country survive this liberal onslaught against our freedom. I promise I will never - not in this lifetime - let you down.

Take a stand with me today. We will fight this until the end.

If she runs of defund and repeal she might have a good shot. We need to get them ALL to sign a pledge to defund.

OK - Mission accomplished - Bill read part of it on-air - will see what callers have to say...

So, is this "conservative challenger" stupid?

"While this president is in office, repealing this full law is not realistic and not the best use of our efforts," he said in a statement.

While this president is in office, there isn't a chance in hell of repealing the bill. He'll veto any repeal. We could defund it, except next year there is almost no funding needed for it, only a small amount goes into effect before the 2012 elections.

But obviously we will be much better off if we give the Delaware seat back to the Democrats.

Defund is not the same as repeal. Has Castle said he doesn’t think they could defund it?

On the other hand, there’s almost nothing to defund before 2012.

Did you know Mike Castle voted for Cap and Trade? There’s not much difference between Castle and a Dem, anyway!

Isn’t this the same Christine O’Donnell who’s been exposed in Delaware newspapers for failing to file FEC reports, refusing to take a job so she can live off of campaign donations, not paying her campaign staff, failing to reimburse her campaign staff for expenses while reimbursing expenses to herself and her boyfriend, using the GOP headquarters for her campaign headquarters then writing off her apartment, electric bill, phone bills, etc...as campaign expenses during the same time period?

She had staffers in 2008 pay for her expenses on their credit cards and then refused to reimburse them. That’s why she had to have a former staffer carted out of her campaign announcement, he showed up to ask her to pay him as promised. Her announcement had to be closed to all but invited guests, and hand picked news media because of her unpaid debts.

She has no concept of financial responsibility, she leaves her staffers in financial ruin while she uses campaign donations to go to California and Texas and the Middle East and to fancy events at country clubs.

She already acts entitled to our money, like a career politician, but she’s never won a race.
