March 23 also is the date in 1801 when Thomas Jefferson wrote these words in a letter to Moses Robinson:

"The Christian Religion, when divested of the rags in which they (the clergy) have enveloped it, and brought to the original purity and simplicity of its benevolent institutor, is a religion of all others most friendly to liberty, science, and the freest expansion of the human mind." - Letter to Moses Robinson, March 23, 1801

A few days later, he wrote of his dedication to the principles of the Constitution, as framed and understood at the time of its adoption:

"The Constitution on which our Union rests, shall be administered by me (as President) according to the safe and honest meaning contemplated by the plain understanding of the people of the United States at the time of its adoption - a meaning to be found in the explanations of those who advocated [it]. . . ." - Letter to Mesrs. Eddy, Russel, Thurber, Wheaton and Smith, March 27, 1801

He didn’t wait his previously promised “5 days” so should we think this date was calculated? I don’t know if he’s that smart, but he’s devious and his fellow-Marxist traveller czars are keen on dates of consequence, and Muslims are too.

Kind of goes along with holder’s salute, “Americans are cowards..”

It will be interesting to observe the level at which massive civil restraint is deliberately and measureably stored away and the do-or-die call is shouldered.

The cackling, cheerleading dim-bulbs of media need to know they will not be considered out of bounds on the field of play.

Thanks for the inspiration. A full read of Patrick Henry's speech is in order, but these excerpts are especially pertinient:

Also today in history (1933): The Enabling Act was passed by Germany’s Reichstag and signed by President Paul von Hindenburg on March 23, 1933. The enabling act established Hitler’s dictatorship.

I cannot stand this. What can we do that will start conversations daily, in public, waiting for a train, anywhere??? We must talk daily about this. I have been stuck on my computer for 3 days straight just sick about this. Just came back from Target and everyone was just going along to get along. I wanted to scream “Do you people know what happened today!!!!” I wish I had some kind of sign on my forehead or something.
