1. Ann Coulter unplugged. The conservative provocateur mocked gay men last night, saying there are two things they cant do get married to each other (they can in Canada and some American states) and throw a baseball without looking like a girl.
The university provost a letter cautioning her to be aware of what is acceptable in Canada, noting that promoting hatred against any identifiable group would not only be considered inappropriate but could in fact lead to criminal charges.
Ms. Coulter, meanwhile, spoke last night at the University of Western Ontario. All long blonde hair and heavily-mascaraed lashes, she did not hold back, according to the London Free Press. A frequent contributor to Fox News Barack Obamas least favourite American network Ms. Coulter took on a political science student who is Muslim.
After the 9/11 terrorist attacks, she had joked that Muslims denied air travel should take flying carpets. When the student challenged that remark, Ms. Coulter told her to take a camel, adding that, I thought it was just American public schools that produced ignorant people.

Sandra Bernhard issued a blistering warning to Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show.
The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan, Bernhard said. Palin is said to be making a campaign stop in New York next week.
"[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't believe that other women should have the right to choose," Bernhard told the Daily News today.
Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.
On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.

"One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked-up by Alex Rodriguez."
rather amazing, how quickly they did edit the article....makes one think that they read FR....
SICK EM ANN.
Something Sandra Bernhard will never have to worry about.
I posted an article from the St. Louis Post Dispatch a couple of years back and they changed the title and content 3 times in about an hour.
Speaking to students and academics at the University of Western Ontario on Monday night, Ms. Coulter said the email sent to her on Friday by François Houle, vice-president academic and provost of the University of Ottawa, targeted her as a member of an identifiable group and as such, she will be filing a complaint with the Human Rights Commission alleging hate speech.
“I’m sure the Human Rights Commission will get to the bottom of it,” Ms. Coulter said to loud cheers from the 800-strong audience. “I think I’m the victim of a hate crime here. Either what [Mr. Houle] did was a hate crime, or the whole commission is B.S.”
thinking: read it again, what I posted is a direct copy and paste...
Yes thinking it is a direct copy and paste.
But not from the National Post, it is from theglobeandmail.com blog
That's just the first part, then you jumped around skipping many parts and not mentioning it in the post with *snip* marks or anything like that.Tuesday, March 23, 2010 8:42 AM

I hope this clears this up a little.
Then I notice you keep posting full text replies, quite against the rules here.
Not to mention one post with a gazillion words squished up against each other like sardines, impossible to read!
And you continue to defend your misapplied cut and paste, Mr. thinking:
My, you sure have kept the mods busy today. I did push the abuse button after the blatant repeats of copyright material being posted.yes, I it appears that the National has edited out the various lines....all I can say is that I posted direct copy form the article.....leave to the liberal press to edit out what they view as offense...an example of weak kneed Canadian censorship.....
I repeat....the information I posted was a direct copy from the article....
That could get FR shut down you know.
Do me a favor would you thinking? Don't post anymore to the thread I started. You don't seem to listen to advice, even when it is from the moderators.
I don't want the other thread littered with pulled posts.
Maybe they screwed up big time and stole the story and then wrote their own.
If you go to the link I provided, you will find everything you copied and pasted
The others agreed because you insisted you got it from where you said you did
I doubt it, but it's a moot point now.
I showed where it came from originally.
Speaking of the FR boss, you have had 7 of your posts removed from his thread for violating the rules here at FR
And were told twice, because you seemed to have ignored the first warning.
I doubt they like babysitting you while you tell posters how to get around the copyright rules here with the sneaky little method you applied.
Use your handle, and do some...thinking.
