If good horses go to heaven then I know I have a few in that other place.

Well, horses are mentioned in the book of Revelation They were ridden by Harry Stuhldreher, Don Miller, Elmer Layden, and Jim Crowley--the Four Horsemen.

“It is generally accepted that while an animal may have a spirit, they dont have souls.”
Just curious...where do you draw the distinction between ‘spirit’ and ‘soul’? I come from this as a christian, but also a Carl Jung/Joseph Campbell reader from many moons ago. Just curious about your take.

I’ve got the sock thing figured out. Socks are really the larva of hangers. That is why you are always short socks and always have a surplus of hangers.

Quite welcome.
I hope you enjoy it....:)

Yep, that’s exactly like my Miss Fluff-fluff. It was fitting I gave her away at a Halloween carnival. Horrible creature.

I sure am not biblicaly super educated, but my guess is that God's rewards will much, much more than satisfy the saved's wildest dreams, whatever those dreams are.

I certainly hope to find my animals waiting for me, a lot of sweet kitties and my lovely, trusting mares, who taught me so much about what it means to be a good human. Maybe even the birds I fed might stop by, too.

Its been said that there are 2 kinds of people, those that love horses, and that other kind of people.
Some of the bests hours of my adult life were spent on the back of my chestnut Arab mare, running through the woods and along a linear trail set up on an old railbed. She was sensible and had incredible dignity. I felt wonderful just riding her. She lived to be 30 years old.

Paradoxically, PB is sweet as can be to people...it’s just animals she hates.
She’s 8 years old now and her daddy Booger is older but I have no idea by how much and has recently gone completely blind.
I could never get rid of her, if only for his sake.
He is too fond of her and even though they live in separate quarters, the pens touch and they sleep snuggled up back-to-back.

If we believe God's plans are perfect, {I do} then long ago He considered the situation where a lonely believer has no friend. 'Cept for their faithful dog, cat, horse?
I wish I had that answer.
Per your statement, wht wouldn't you have the answer?

There are three things at a typical animal selter. Dogs needing homes, cats needing homes, dinner to be cooked... (Snicker)
