I just finished watching Victor Davis Hanson on National Review online's feature "Uncommon Knowledge" I have always thought that he is our best military historian. This 5 part feature has only confirmed my belief.

Watch it! It takes about 1/2 hour.

Do you mind giving us an overview of topic? All military History iof US from pre-Revolution to Present day? Revolutionary times? Civil War? 1812?

He speaks about the nature of war and why America has traditionally won our wars. He also discusses the changes to our population that is changing how we fight
