Latest Global Warming Fear, Massive Build-up of Microbe Flatulence

Here's another entry from the "there is some stuff to weird to make-up" department. Apparently once again, the world is in huge danger from global warming, not caused by humans, this time the danger is coming from microbe flatulence. According to scientists, microbes living under ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland may be releasing large quantities of the greenhouse gas methane, just ready to burst through the ice, trap the sunlight and heat up the atmosphere.

I knew something like this crap was going to surface sooner or later.
FYI, every acre of wetland, that the environazis are so fond of, emits methane, as does
all bodies of water, rotting vegetation (including these oh-so-green composts), volcanoes,
dirt, all wildlife and of course humans.
And it's been going on for a very long time.

Yes all those organic gardeners should stop composting. They should take all the compost material but it in glass jars (recycled of course) and bury them in the back yard to sequester that nasty carbon.

The Earth has been digesting hydrocarbons by microbial action for milleniania and its now a PROBLEM?

This is the physical basis of oils, coal and natural gas. Some dead dinosaurs, poorly adapted sealife and deciduous plants added to the mix for fibrous content, and voila! You have the basis for wealth and happiness for generations.
