Pakistani authorities have just announced the capture of Adam Gadahn, a typical California liberal turned Al Queda spokesman. Known as Azzam the American (wait, he also did magic tricks?) this self-important insect made half a dozen videos calling upon Muslim-Americans to attack their adopted country from within.
Where did Azzam the Magnificent learn his anti-American pap? Well, Adam's father was part of the counterculture movement at the University of California at Irvine. Adam was raised on an isolated farm in Southern California. At age 17, he converted to Islam at a mosque where Adam's study group often insulted the moderate imam, calling him a “Jew” for his Western ways. I wonder if Adam’s study group partners were aware that Adam’s family was also Jewish. How self-hating must Adam have been to insult people by calling them what his family actually was?
Add in the typical radicalization, a brief imprisonment for assault, and a change of address to Pakistan, and you get the outline of this fool's story. Adam’s hilarious videos of bombast and hatred were so out of line with his actual lack of power, that all they did was serve to contrast his words and his impotence. In that part of the world, you speak loudly and carry no stick.
Anyway, I look forward to Adam being water boarded before being executed for his treason.
