Do you feel the incessant need to blame Republicans for all the evil in the world? Do you breakdown into fits of crocodile tears? Do you constantly say that America must be unified to defeat Democrats when were already unified against the liberal agenda? Do you feel that a third party will solve all of Americas ills? If youve answered yes to any of the above questions, then youre likely a Becker.

I don’t know what Beck is. While I would agree with him that the real answer to America’s problems are cultural/spiritual and not political, the cultural/spiritual problems that have helped bring us to the brink don’t make our political problem any less real. A third party won’t solve any of our problems. The beauty of the Tea Party is that it is a grassroots movement, not a third political party. I hope the people have the integrity to keep it that way.
“On Becks radio show today he said is absolutely against a [conservative] third party and that the only way to set things right is by working within the two party system we currently have...” ~ FerociousRabbit
That’s good. From my post early this morning:
“I didn’t hear Beck advocating a third party..” -[Freeper]
You “hear” one thing, and others “hear” something else.
That means that Beck hasn’t made himself crystal clear. He needs to tell people the truth - that a third party is an automatic loser, and in light of that fact, classic liberals (nka conservatives) must take the Republican party back from the Progressive liberals (Marxist-Socialists).
So far, he has used weasel words like, “unless”, as a way to equivocate, ie: “A third party will win UNLESS the Republicans and the Democrats wake up.”.
The phrase, “wake up”, has as many definitions as there are people with opinions. Of course, by using a phrase like that, he is setting himself up to be in the position to say that “they haven’t woke up enough”, and therefore we need a third party.
Unless Beck makes it crystal clear that he is distancing himself from the idea of a third party, you can be absolutely SURE that you will never hear him say: “they have woke up enough now...”. He will say just the opposite.

Let’s hope on his TV show this afternoon that he also says he’s absolutely against a third party like you say he said on his radio show today. bttt
Beck doen’t advocate a third party. He wants someone to lead based on the Founders’ principles. He is calling for true reform in the Republican Party.
The constanct deriding of the Republican Party is irritating. However, they have to be held accountable too. There are many who put him down for his sometimes over the top style, but the information that he presents is invaluable. Without Beck the Tea Party Movement might not be as strong as it is, and certainly not as well-informed. If that makes me a “Becker”, then so be it.
Beck doesn’t blame the Republicans for all the evil in the world. Anyone who has watched him knows this. Neither does John McCain.
You better belief it.Proud 9/12er!And what are you a Republicrat Koolaider?
No it doesn’t. Glenn Beck and John McCain do not blame the Republicans for all the evil in the world. I believe in truth and honesty.
I suspect that writer33 isn’t from these parts...if you know what I mean, streetpreacher. Don’t get sucked in.
Good call. Thanks.
If McCain was President, we’d probably already have a health care “compromise” as well as amnesty.
A lot of people are going on about GB supporting 3rd party candidates.
I listen to him nearly every day.
I hear him giving Republicans an ass whooping an awful lot,
But that does not equate to going third party.
Those who claim he is, are inferring what he is not implying.
Hes wrong on the BC issue. That does not make him a RINO, a commie, an America hater, or a clueless, rudderless idiot whos in it just for the paycheck.
He is a TALK SHOW HOST. And I think hes pretty damn good.
The day he tries to cut out the knees of a major GOP candidate by supporting a Paul or Perot type, I will have a hard time telling anyone hes worth listening to.
Until then, Ill keep listening, and sing his praises to my circle.
Progressive? What happened to the disease called “liberalism”?
Are you a Republican?
Not to take sides between Beck and Buckley (two completely different people and I like them both)...
I grew up on Buckley back when black and white TV was all there was, and Buckley was all there was...
and I’ve got to say, I miss that guy. He was one of a kind. There may never be another like him, but we could use a whole boat load of them... but of some kinds of people God makes only one and then breaks the mold.
The disease was “progressivism”. One big problem is that the “progressives” (I know, a misnomer) stole the name “liberal” and we let them get away with it.
The radicals have started moving back toward the name “progressive” and Beck is encouraging it in order to pry the undeserved “liberal” monicker away from them. They are not and have never been “liberals”.
I am generally a cheer leader for anybody who is putting their shoulder to the wheel of conservatism and whom I consider and feel to be sincere in their efforts. Glenn Beck is no exception for me. He is doing an invaluable job of educating and informing Americans who have a need to know the background of the people and forces that are so openly subverting our government. Glenn has unique talents and abilities which help him to convey his message to an audience that might not otherwise be exposed to this vital survival information. There is no need to have an either, or, choice of conservative messengers. There are a number of approaches to educating US citizens about their government and as long as the messengers are headed in the right pro American direction and their goal is a free America, most will have my support. I appreciate that FOX has given Glenn the forum to reach the American public with his educational format. I also take this opportunity to thank Glenn Beck for his work on behalf of this country, he is doing a great job.
>> Progressive? What happened to the disease called liberalism? <<
Progressive is what Liberalism used to be called, Liberalism used to mean what we consider libertarian today.
Liberalism was co-opted after Progressive-ism failed the first round.
>> Oh... So you are another one of those who actually listened to his CPAC speech?
Yeah... Me too. ;-) <<
We must build a strong house first before taking down their house. And that means driving out the weasels and hucksters from our party first so when we drive the other party out of business they don’t seethe into our party and infect us as badly...
I understand what Beck means and do my own reading on history, I am not a water carrying fool, the left has names for water carrying fools, they are called “useful idiots” in their lingo.
