Billy boy the same Newt who sat on a couch with Pelosi over global warming marxist agenda?
The same one who said I hope this president succeeds in the face of Rush's comments.? He said if he fails the country does so of course I support him.
The same guy who said we need more Colin Powell's in our party?
The same one who supported Scozz in the NY 23 race the one who turned around and endorsed the democrat?
People is everyone losing their minds or just me?
Billy was very critical of Sarah.
While I am troubled by her campaigning for Mccain the left media tells you all you need to know about her effectiveness.
Zactly!
The last time I saw “conservative” Newt, he was sitting on a bench with Nancy Pelosi pimping “global warming”.
I didn’t realize how big a sellout Gingrich is/was until I read Tom Coburn’s Breach of Trust - truly unbelievable. Further convinces me that National politics is just kabuki theatre for us naive citizenry. None are to be trusted, especially if they’ve been in Congress for more than one term.
IIRC, Cunningham was the guy that was MCing a McStain event
and was jumped on by McStain for including Obozos middle name “Hussein”. McStain told him, something like, “that is uncalled for”.
McStain needs to dry up and blow away.
yeah, Sarah made bad call on stumping for Juan.
but i can’t picture her cozying up to nasty lugosi on a couch.
Well, whoever he is, he’s right: Palin is a populist conservative who relies on her instincts, which have thus far always turned out to be right, and puts principle ahead of party. Gingrich is an intellectual conservative who thinks through issues and has mistakenly from time to time put party ahead of principle.
The movement needs both kinds, but Palin’s sort is better for the Oval Office.
And no, Newt should not go away. He should just consider a run for the Senate and stop thinking about running for President. (His sort is better in the Senate.)
I’ve been listening to WLW, and occasionally Bill Cunningham, since 1984. He’s a fake and a poser. It doesn’t matter if it’s his old evening show, his new afternoon show, or his weekend night show. He’s only their to be provocative, not to examine issues or promote conservative solutions.
I don’t think Sarah Palin is making a mistake associating with McCain. There is much that both can learn from each other. And I am hoping that Sarah can influence McCain that conservative principals are what this country needs.
I love Billy! Have heard about 3 new hosts via internet that I’ve come to really like recently, instead of the same old, same old
And what was that about Occidental College releasing that, in application for a Fulbright Scholarship ( I don’t recall mention by anyone of this scholarship being applied for), Obama listed his citizenship as Indonesian and thus, having not re-patriated himself, is not eligible to be president???
Was Cunningham giving a ‘what if’? He followed with a point that if this was Bush in question the media would be making huge noise. Why was he wasting his time with this scenario if that is what it is?
He didn’t close the minute or so with a clear qualification that the release of this application was factual news or not. This should have been done so those listening lightly such as I who missed the initial sentence wouldn’t be confused, which is exactly what I am.
I’m doing a slow scramble. Podcast of 1st hr is online here, but I think we’re in 3rd hour:

We still need his influence on the radio. Although, he would be more effective if he didn't come off as a knee jerk reactionary. He needs to shape up because he makes conservatives look bad.
Thanks for the ping. There is a movement afoot to discredit Sarah completely. I WILL NOT throw Sarah under the bus!
(((PING)))
100% correct and bears repeating!
Right now, there are two main groups who have ratcheted up their attacks on Sarah this past week---Romneyites and Pauline Apostles, with lib trolls and outright misogynists chiming in and stirring the pot even more. Disaffected members of the CPAC crowd have been involved as well.
The Pauline Apostles have been the most obnoxious (not by much though), BUT they have no problem with Ron Paul wanting to take out the CIA. Crazy!
LLS
The entertainment just goes on and on (sarc).
The last time Newt was a good Conservative was about 15 years ago. He was bitten with the Washington DC bug shortly after and has played media populist ever since.
He is a not-very-bright radio talk host who's heart is mostly in the right place. Last night someone called in an was an obvious 9/11 "Truther" and the audience could see it from a mile away. Cunningham took like 2 minutes to figure it our and dump him. Sometimes he makes good points. Sometimes he seem positively retarded.
