Sarah is the most humble, honorable and EFFECTIVE politician I have ever known in my 50+ year lifetime. McCain gave her the chance to be VP. For Sarah to support McCain is Sarah being Sarah. Sarah was TOO GOOD for McCain. McCain needed a scapegoat and he threw her under the bus when they lost. Sarah deserves better. Her family deserves better. Sarah is a bigger man than I am. I would tell Juan McCain to f#ck himself.

I heard that today too... extremely disappointing! Was listening to JD Hayworth’s show tonight and also heard a Robo call made by Scott Brown in support of McCain's run for re election...

Really bad move on her part. The kindest thing she could have done is sit the old goat down and fill him in on the reality that his time has passed.

He needs to pack it in and buy himself a rocking chair.

Well, I could overlook this, but now his wife has stood up for gays, and is for abortion. Someone convince me Sarah is the way to go, cause I’m just not convinced now.

This is all disturbing to say the least.

Instead of trying to read her mind let’s rely solely on Sarah’s statements about McCain.

She called him a patriot and said that he’s an honorable man and that she absolutely adores him. She also stated that she intended to support him 100 percent and she is keeping her word.

Sarah is a politician and like all politicians she will make personal and political decisions her supporters will not always agree with, but nobody should have been surprised by her support of John McCain.

I'm a newbie at the Facebook thing, but I created a fan page to ask this same question. Please follow this link and become a fan. If enough people do so, maybe we'll get Sarah's attention. Send this link to friends!

Why Is Sarah Supporting McCain!?

I think that Chris Simcox is running. I’m not sure if Hayworth has announced yet.

Chris is the grassroots, border-security activist who formed the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps (MCDC).

Because she has morals - she liked Mccain as a person, repects his war record, his selection of her as VP candidate - and is sticking by the bond formed.

I don’t like Mccain at all, but on balance I can easily live with this decision as I would like Palin less if she was ungrateful and disloyal. As important as postions and policies are, I respect character too.

She believes McCain is an honorable man. She ran with him. She went all over the country singing his praises. Did you think she didn’t believe what she was saying?

This is not a game changer. This is Sarah exhibiting some consistency.

A question to those with concerns (valid concerns) about Palin’s support of McCain?

Did you support Brown? He is a liberal republican, maybe even an independent.

Why? Special circumstances.

Same here.

We can defeat McCain with conservative JD Hayworth.
Hayworth, however, must pay off his legal fees before a January 31 deadline in order for him to enter the Senate race. The DOJ dropped the investigation of Hayworth in the Abramoff scandal once they determined Hayworth had nothing to do with the scandal.

Please help Hayworth pay off these legal fees as he is our only shot at knocking off RINO McClame.

I've always thought Sarah Palin’s strength was her sound (conservative) judgment. I don't see it here. I don't expect McCain to reciprocate her loyalty any more in the future than he has in the past.

Thanks for your concern.

She is loyal to the person who brought her to the national stage. If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t be worthy of support.

I'm still shivering from the bucket of cold Alaskan water thrown over me.

McCain showed absolutely NO honor in putting the arm on Sarah to support him and his liberal ways. How can she support anyone like that?

On the other hand, if he DIDN'T put the arm on her and she OFFERED to campaign for him, then that also speaks volumes to me.

What an absolutely dumb, stupid political move on her part.

It shows me she doesn't want to run for prez....perhaps preferring a career in television show biz. I also think she's naively attaching herself to McManiac because he's the liberal media's darling of the decade.

I'll bet conservatives like Joe the Plumber are taking the pipe right about now.

I believe that Governor Palin bases her actions on the fact that she’s loyal to people and not ideology. She has said that she found Senator McCain to be an “honorable” man and admired the man for his service to our nation, his sacrifice and torture during 7 years as a POW. I don’t know for sure, but I’ll bet that she considers the fact that he’s pro-life more important than almost anything else.
