ABC's Good Morning America rips into Pat Robertson for his hateful interpretation of the earthquake in Haiti on 1/14/10. Frankly, he deserves it...it was an extremely stupid thing to say. Also Gibbs video: Robertson's Haiti Remark 'Utterly Stupid'. For once I agree with Gibbs!

I’m waiting for the WH to call Danny Glover an idiot for saying that the earthquake in Haiti was caused by global warming. I foresee a long wait.
Irony being that Haiti’s primary religion deals in animism, which is a foo foo way of saying the lack of goat sacrifices caused this quake.

It is not time to have a third party, if you want to influence policy, use the furor you have at the Republicans, to take over the party. If you cannot even influence an existing party, you don’t have enough of a following to win an election in a three party race.
I was wondering about the historical accuracy of Pat’s statement.
Is there a record of this alleged pact with the devil? And how much of the population was in accord with those who made it?
Is everybody so stupid as to think that libs spin or pull Rush’s comments out of context to make them look bad?

Of course, most Haitians would think they just didn’t sacrifice enough goats.
I watched some ABC News footage last night of hundreds of Haitians in the streets full of rubble, singing hymns, and raising their hand to God. Would we see that in say LA or San Francisco if the same level of destruction occurred? Haiti has a higher percentage of Christians than most other nations, and much much higher than SF? .
I am somewhat surprised that so much is being made about any remarks uttered by a senile fool such as Robertson.
I think the story of this pact is part of history but I do not know if its fable or fact. I do know there is allot of devil worship currently going on.
