Rep. John Mica says that the White House is stonewalling Congress on information about preparedness in view of the attempted terror attack.
The TSA doesn't have a head, but only because it took 9 months to find a nominee. Senator DeMint has placed a hold on this nominee in an effort to ensure that the TSA is not unionized, which would put its role in protecting our national security at risk if there were ever a strike or even if a TSA employee needed to be fired.

One quick question. Why aren’t Mica and DeMint being mentioned as presidential candidates? The nation would do well with them in charge.
John Mica is my Rep, and I think he’s great! I’d like to see him get more national prominence.
Mica is good as are most (not Corrine) other reps from Northeast Florida, but they relegate thenselves behind the spotlight for some reason. Crenshaw is doing well on bringing a nuke carrier to Mayport but like so many others seems to be myopic in agendas. He voted for the Food Safety Bill which gave me reason to take pause.
