November 2010 is a huge part of it. We have to support (time and money) every conservative running for office. But we also have to maintain pressure and have certain items we want passed into law so that our country is no longer run by irresponsible ideologues.

So who are all the people on FR who are either running for an office or donating time/money to someone else? Because if all we are doing is sitting at our keyboards complaining, that is right where the liberals want us - occupied and passive.

Good topic, and right on the mark. We’re in the process of rebuilding our GOP county organization here and approximately 30% of our precincts have no committee persons. We get conservatives calling and visiting the HQ all the time complaining that the “Republicans aren’t doing enough”, but when you give them a chance to volunteer and get involved, all you see is their back and a cloud of dust. Politics is a lot of work, and unfortunately, most ‘activists’ think that blogging is all they need to do. The only way for conservatism to take hold is through the Republican Party; all of this crap about a third party is just a recipe for disaster.
