Hi all,
I have been trying to do a little research on the whole Climate Change thing, Climate-gate, et al. But I keep hearing there are 700 scientists, or 30,000 scientists (!) who dissent. Where is the best place for me to find such information? (Yes, I know of the list on Wikipedia, but it seems incomplete, at best).
You’re welcome. I used that as ammo against a lib who was spouting something about 7,000 UK scientists for AGW.

The names are readily available. There is a project called "Global Warming Petition Project". The project delivered the signatures of 31,486 America scientists with university degrees, which included 9,029 PhDs.
The purpose of the Petition Project is to demonstrate that the claim of settled science and an overwhelming consensus in favor of the hypothesis of human-caused global warming and consequent climatological damage is wrong. No such consensus or settled science exists
These scientists are convinced that the human-caused global warming hypothesis is without scientific validity and that government action on the basis of this hypothesis would unnecessarily and counterproductively damage both human prosperity and the natural environment of the Earth.
Global Warming Petition Project contains a link to a list of every individual that signed the petition, which is exactly what you say you are seeking.
Were you informed that there is a scientific consensus? Were you informed that the science is settled? It is clear these are both lies. Have there been other lies?
And one more:
US Senate Report of More Than 700 Dissenting Scientists from March 2009
Really? A warmer world, and you're not sure whether is bad or good? Hmmmm Where do you go for vacation, someplace warm or someplace cold? Longer growing seasons, more rain, extra CO2 to augment crop production, less ice and snow, less road salt, shorter flu season, it's a long list. If people were to get the idea that a warmer world were a good thing and not a problem, all the other issues associated with "Global Warming" would become academic.
