Al Franken "Throws Harry Reid Under the Bus" in Defending His Insult of Joe Lieberman - Video

Here is video of Bill O'Reilly talking to Sen. Jim DeMint tonight, where they focused on Sen. Al Franken's insult against Sen. Joe Lieberman in the U.S. Senate yesterday.

During the segment, O'Reilly played audio of Franken defending himself today, where he claimed he had no choice to shut down Lieberman because he had been given marching orders from Sen. Harry Reid. In a sense, he threw Harry Reid under the bus here!

DeMint said Franken - a junior Senator - was "way out of line," and was not telling the truth in his defense of his actions. DeMint said he was surprised at Franken "throwing Harry Reid under the bus." . . . (VIDEO)

His name gives me the image of a saxophone reed with hair stuck to it. But I think we should be careful not to insult people to the point of dehumanizing them.

I think Reed is a corrupt politician. But he is still a person.

But Lieberman stays with them no matter what. They even trash his wife and he doesn’t care, he stays with them. So, when you get down to it, it was just a case of one buffoon telling aother buffoon to pipe down. Ho hum.

Apparently Franken was following orders.

“We did that to maintain order and that no senator had an unfair advantage over another in terms of speaking. It was a simple request of the leader and Sen. Franken was adhering to the request of his leadership,” said Reid spokesman Jim Manley.

There was a more righteous time when we who hunt and gather would have beaten this little thief bloody, and then tied him to a tree for the wolves to snack on.

Liberalism is an uintended consequence of a “civilized” world.

If life was as tough as it was before those who hunt and gather made it better, we wouldn’t here much from these worms. They’d be gutted where they stood for trying to steal another man’s hunt, wouldn’t they?

There is absolutely no difference in principle, but the nice-guy’s rule now, so we have to actually argue with these worms.
