Huckabes’s arrogance infuriates me.

When he commutted a sentence, he essentially told the jurors “I haven’t the foggiest idea what lead you to impose a sentence on this man, I have no idea what he did, I do not know the circumstances, nor do I care. With a stroke of my pen, I will tell all of you idiots to go to hell, and will substitute my arbitrary sense of justice to a decision that you deliberated and argues over”.

With Huckabee, why do we need a court system? What’s the point of taking time out of the juror’s life; if the charge they agree to, is simply over-ruled? Seems like a complete waste of time to me; just have Huckabee impose the sentence and save some time. He’s just going to over-rule the jurors decision anyway.
