What are the odds that had a GOP Congressman had been witness to the arrest of his gay lover's marijuana arrest, minor details like this would take two years to come to the surface? Fox reporter Alison Bologna interviews Frank on the details of the arrest and questions what Frank knew and what he seems conveniently oblivious to as well. Frank as usual goes on the offense with feigned outrage:

Thank you. As you can see I am not that familiar with drug culture vocabulary! I couldn’t imagine why Homland Security wasn’t called if they were confiscating bombs!
Yes, he’s just a pathetic degenerate along with all of his other lib buddies...
What’s the safest and most FReeper-friendly way to hope that Barney Frank dies (very soon) without getting banned or having my post deleted?
He has lifetime-guaranteed healthcare in which we shelled-out to “fix” his teeth.
I agree, excellent post. AS VS-21 pointed out with Barney boy and his outrageous connection with a boyfriend who probably just didn’t have enough hours in the day to be involved in more illegal activities, still nothing happens no expulsion, nothing. This would never happen had it been a Republican and MSNBC would be on a 24 hour special report mode to cover it all.
Obama is going to be looked back on as the biggest Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment in American history by historians. It says loads about our culture that people like Frank and Obama can rise to become president or be continually reelected by the sleeping masses. We’ll see who has woken up come 2010.
Really puts this mess in perspective. (Sadly, I can think of just as many more "ironies" that weren't mentioned in your post . . . *sigh*)
We've got a LOT of work to do.
I think it's because the populace has entered into a new, unspoken, social contract with our representatives:
You keep bringing home the bacon and we'll keep re-electing you.In short, we the people have become unfit for liberty, just as the Founding Fathers feared we would.
"A people may prefer a free government, but if, from indolence, or carelessness, or cowardice, or want of public spirit, they are unequal to the exertions necessary for preserving it; if they will not fight for it when it is directly attacked; if they can be deluded by the artifices used to cheat them out of it; if by momentary discouragement, or temporary panic, or a fit of enthusiasm for an individual, they can be induced to lay their liberties at the feet even of a great man, or trust him with powers which enable him to subvert their institutions; in all these cases they are more or less unfit for liberty: and though it may be for their good to have had it even for a short time, they are unlikely long to enjoy it." J.S. Mill
Barney Frank is an elitist, a member of Congress and the laws don’t apply to him!
And now a circulating E-MAIL!!
SIN is a reproach to any people.
When are we going to repent?
"I know nothing!"
I'm an INDOOR Dino!
Just another gay Barney.
Just another gay Barney.
