Robert Bauer and Anita Dunn - A Match Made for Obama's White House

One of the hot trends on the internet right now is Robert Bauer and his wife, director of White House communications Anita Dunn, henceforth, Anita Dumb.

After a little digging it was uncovered that Robert Bauer has quite the rap sheet, which makes him a perfect partner for the Maoist Anita Dumb.

Bauer is an attorney who served as general counsel for the president's Brown Shirt operation Obama for America during the presidential campaign and also serves as Obama's personal attorney.

Let's take a look at Robert Bauer's achievements during his tenure:

* Served as general counsel for Obama for America.

* Unsuccessfully lobbied the Justice Department last fall to pursue a criminal probe of the American Issues Project (AIP), an independent group that sought to run an ad highlighting the Barack Obama and terrorist Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground connection.

* Sought prosecution with the Department of Justice against Harold Simmons for funding the ad.

* Used thug and scare tactics on television stations throughout the U.S. to compel them to pull the advertisement of Obama and Ayers.

Needless to say, he's the perfect match for his wife Anita Dumb.

Let's take a look at her record:

* Served decade-long as chief strategist for former Senate majority leader, Health and Human Services nominee, and tax cheat Tom Daschle.

* Trained White House press secretary Robert "Goebbels" Gibbs.

* Attacks FOX News any chance she has.

* Favorite philosophers are dictator and mass-murderer Mao Tse Tung.

So Anita Dumb and Robert Bauer fit perfectly in with this radical administration. It's too bad the mainstream media is so pathetic that they purposefully overlook this vital information.

His wife is Anita Dunn, an Obama campaign veteran who passed up a White House job and now reigns as the town's resident political consultant-strategist-genius. She seemingly has worked for every Democrat who ever lived, back to the Carter days. Newsweek, which we think should know, listed the couple among the new "D.C. powers."

Not so, says Dunn: "The idea of power couples is a very retro idea. We don't really have them among us now."

Interesting theory. But it contravenes Rule No. 2:

Washington must have power couples. It needs them, or at least the idea of them.

Because Washington, despite being the seat of democracy and all that, is fundamentally a place of pecking-order distinctions. There are striations in levels of access and power; major and minor signifiers.

Does your government position afford you a shiny black Suburban (or two, or more) and a security detail, or just a reserved spot in your agency's garage? Small things convey prestige, unfettered passage, no second look from the Secret Service. Are you "hard-pinned" or "tin-pinned" when traveling with POTUS?

Badges and clearance levels matter: How far above "secret" are you? Were you "read into" the program?

On today’s show, Glenn Beck did a schtick with
a phone ringing on set, and some ‘insider’ told

didn’t mention him by name, but we know it’s
Robert Bauer, Obama certifigate & DNC attorney

He went thru this comic routine .. ooh no, he’s
not going to tell what it is, but apparently
her husband just got a BIG job.

Speculation in the press has been brewing that
the WH counsel, Greg Craig, is on his way out
due to Gitmo policy screwups, in the eyes of
some.

So I speculated that maybe he’s going to replace
Craig.
