Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

If only The JOker would consent to a polygraph we could get this over with, but that will never happen in my lifetime.
Thanks! Again, I have no idea what the real story is - all I know is that Obama cxould clear this up very easily, and has chosen not to.
The rats will use not only the birther stuff but anything they can make up or create to come after us,nothing new there. The truth about zero is still important enough to go after.
Many of us have invested months in trying to discover the truth about this clown whomever he is and to suggest that we give up now is folley, it won't happen.
Where is the Chicago Tribune NOW, huh???
You need to give that article its own thread!!!!
Was the author ever asked to correct or redact the information?
Certainly would like to see the authors notes.
So is it Kenya or Indonesia??
bflr
Did anyone send this to Drudge?
“I care because this birther BS is making all of us conservatives look like kooks “
To whom? Chris Matthews? Keith Olbermann?
Why did this Marxist POS wipe his life history clean? Where are his college apps? Where are his papers from Occidental? From Columbia? From Harvard? This guy smells, and you have offered nothing to this thread.
But your question was a valid one and one I too wonder about.
Interesting indeed and I pray it grows legs.
From the Source Code of the page this snippet is interesting: East African Standard Online Edition - Elections 2002 Coverage. That is from the page template, if you navigate around the other pages in the archive, they all contain the same Javascript.
It’s becoming more and more clear that a number of people have willingly decided to commit treason, including the chief justice of the USSC. Makes you wonder if elections will in 2010 will be ‘’permited’’. But first, this word from Schlitz!
I see how this goes.
I’m repeatedly accused of being an Obama worshipper, and in my defense I consistently point out that I voted for Bob Barr. You know, the guy who stood for all the conservative, small government principles that McCain didn’t.
So someone responds to that by suggesting that I’m lying. To which I respond by posting a picture of me with Bob Barr. (And for the record, it was at a local Libertarian Party meetup at Manuel’s Tavern in Atlanta in June 2008.) It was my Facebook profile photo through the election. I doubt anyone else here has a photo with the Presidential candidate they voted for.
And yet even that was met with skepticism on several fronts. It was suggested that the photo is meaningless. It was suggested that it didn’t mean I voted for him. It was suggested that it wasn’t actually ME in the photo with Barr.
So how about this: when I get home tonight, I’m willing to print out a page of posts from this thread, and take a photo of myself with that AND the Bob Barr campaign sign I displayed in the front window of my house last year, to further prove that it’s me and that I was an adamant Barr supporter in last year’s election.
Will *that* convince you folks? Because I’m not going to go to the trouble if the response is still ‘Oh, that doesn’t prove anything.’
Was there any news articles about Obama here on FR back in 2005 ? 2004 ? 2003 ?
Wow! Kudos! Another great find:

The black senator who could challenge Hillary

A BLACK senator with only two years in office has emerged as the star of the Democrats’ campaign for next month’s mid-term elections.
Kenyan-born Barack Obama, 45, is already being touted as a challenger to Hillary Clinton for the party’s presidential nomination.
Another scenario sees him as Mrs Clinton’s running mate, raising the possibility of a first female president and first black vice-president in 2008.
Mr Obama is disproving the adage that Washington is “Hollywood for ugly people’’.
He is the Denzil Washington of Capitol Hill, bringing glamour to the staid hallways of the Senate. This week, he was given the ultimate glamour accolade: the front cover of Men’s Vogue.
Accompanied by pictures taken by Annie Liebowitz, photographer to the great and glamorous, the magazine’s article is headlined Barack Obama: The Path to Power.
Mr Obama has been careful not to rule himself out of the presidential race and has been tagged for greatness since he delivered the best speech at the Democratic convention in Boston two years ago.
“What gives people a jolt in their gut about the idea of President Obama is that it would be a ringing symbol that racism no longer rules our land,’’ argues John McWhorter, a leading black intellectual.
Mr Obama, a civil rights lawyer, was the first black editor of the Harvard Law Review. Some observers say he possesses charisma on a par with Mrs Clinton’s husband Bill, the last Democrat president.
He was elected as a senator for Illinois in 2004 by a landslide.
He grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii, the son of a white woman from Kansas and a black man from Kenya, and promises the prospect of national reconciliation on racial issues.
The prospect of an Obama candidacy is especially appealing to those Democrats desperately searching for an alternative to Mrs Clinton, the front-runner to win her party’s presidential nomination.
