These are the headlines from the Front page of this newspaper on that date, so it matches up with the article. If the article was bogus, then the front page would have to be bogus too. It doesn’t look like it is bogus in any way.
And for the naysayers, if you keep insisting that ONE birth announcement in the state where the GRANDPARENTS resided is PROOF that omambo was born there, then aren’t you being a bit disingenuous when you keep insisting that not one, but MANY articles in DIFFERENT newspapers are ALL bogus?
I mean, honest to GOD. ONE birth announcement that could have been placed by Grammy as opposed to MANY articles which state something quite different?
It takes a heap and a hunk o’burnin’ love to keep insisting that a birth announcement is any proof of anything in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Great find......amazing post. #3 blew my mind. What with the username and all...;)
Kenyan-born Barack Obama
I thought that his father was Kenyan and that he was born in the US. Doesn't his being born in Kenya disqualify him from running for president? Or was he born to a foreign service worker or something like that?

But, there is more: http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2006/Jan/08/ln/FP601080334.html But that one was retracted, probably after a perfectly honest call from Senator Obama's office. "Heh dudes, my man was not born in Indonesia"

Jet, wasn’t it you that I sent the name spelling of Barak Obama to?
He used Barrack, Barak, and Barack in different campaigns for different races, AND depending on who his audience was because of the subtle differences in the MEANING of Barak.

One report says Kenya, the other Indonesia.....any way to contact the people who wrote the reports and ask what their sources were? Pretty sure the Indonesian one was retracted a few days later.

I don't know that Barry was born in Kenya... Well, the Kenyan ambassador to the US knows, and said so on a radio interview with a Detroit station on the day after the last election. Furthermore, the ambassador said that Kenya will make Obama's birthplace into a historical landmark. I swear to you that I heard the recording of that interview over the Internet.

Why are his legs so much darker than the rest of him? Socks? It looks like the ones on the other leg are drooping and bagging a bit.

Someone in his camp sprung it on him in 03 that he was illegible. He's illegible, all right. We couldn't read him then and we can't read him now - such a chameleon.
