“Tin Foil Hat” is a subjective term. What you might call truth, I might call “tin foil hat”. How does one police that?

That's the beauty of FR.

You will get both sides of the issue and draw your own conclusions.

We don't need "government experts" to tell us what to believe.

Are you advocating censorship, simply because you think it's a "tin foil" subject?

Have you forgotten that this is a conservative forum, for the most part?

Conservatives are usually pretty good about recognizing the "tin foilers" and call them out.

Sometimes, a "tin foiler" comes up with something that contains more truth than was originally intended.

I, for one, like to think that I have the good sense to make a decision on what I would believe or not believe.

However, you may ask, why do we zot liberals around here, rather than listen to an opposing viewpoint.

Not all are zotted.

But the pure fact of the matter is that a liberal zealot will resort to name calling, vulgarities and nonsensical rantings in order to make a point that has been dis proven by the conservative members of this forum.

It is their stupidity and crassness that is "censored" on this forum, not their idiocy.

It has been my experience that the mods usually allow the "crackpot" or "tin foil" posters to continue on, until such time as it descends into a shouting, screaming, name calling spam fest.

Otherwise, what's the harm?

I tend to listen to holistic physicians first and standard practitioners as needed. The same holistic physicians (and nutritionists!) that guided me through 12 years of schooling (public and private) for four kids (I think I'm the only mom that used penicillin only three times during that period of time for all four children combined) are the same ones I'm still listening to now. So if I'm wearing a tin foil hat, so are all these folks that have educated me and I'd rather use their suggested home remedies that have worked so well than jump into something that they do not recommend.
