Congratulate them on their moral superiority. Then grab their wallet and tell them you just need $50 to defray the cost of your medication. When they try to stop you from taking it ask them why they are being racist.
Some of my grandchildren are liberals, thanks to their parents. It’s heartbreaking. I face them on Facebook sometimes but they don’t listen. They think you’re mean.

Welcome to the club! I was in an on-line class to get a teaching credential at, of all places, Regent Univ., Pat Robertson’s place, when the discussion was about self-imposed racial segregation in schools, etc. and the subject of Ebonics was brought up. I posted that we do a huge disservice to our students if we “experiment” with crap like this - our responsibility is to prepare the kids to function well in the work place. I was called a racist by another student which I promptly sent to Robertson’s office, the dean and most of the profs who knew me. The dean called me up to berate ME for not following protocol in lodging a complaint - then I couldn’t find out what they did to this dope because of her PRIVACY rights!!!!! And this at Pat Robertson’s university!!!! It’s a sham - he’s a sham and I’m still a RACIST!!!!! So, yay!!! Welcome....!

I am suprised nobody is talking about the word teabagger. Thats another racist insult. It is used to describe a sex act and the old media knew that when they labeled us with it.
That sure appears to be the truth now. I laughed so hard, I thought I would blow coffee through my nose when I heard someone say, socialism was code for the n word.
The left has been absolutely vulgar for as long as I can remember. What’s interesting is that the left thinks the truth is vulgar.
I have some serious liberals in my extended family, you will never win the argument just achieve a truce. They have simply accepted the Democratic strategy to silence opposition, and can’t see how they are being manipulated. Family is important, the wise know when to just sigh and not speak. Just bring up politics when the family gatherings get too boring.
Obama bots were different from people who supported other candidates--they took on an air of domineering superiority that really could not be dealt with. They believed they had an excuse to be boorish and to get in your face like a religious fanatic.
At some point, just cut them out of your life. When all the crap hit the fan and their own lives are unjustly impacted by Precious, maybe there'll be a time to rapprochements.

I would offer the same advice and aske them where they get their facts to formulate their own opinions? Keith Overblab? Rachel Madcow? Robert Givesome? Nancy Peukski? Harry (deals) Reid? Al Goracle? Babs Boxcar? Hilarity Sclinton? Jimma Carter?
A family member sent me a link to a petition calling the U.S. selfish for not sending more tsunami relief money to the UN. I explained that private charities do it better and donations have less skimmed off the top. They said “Oh, you don’t care about the tsunami victims.”
Over the next month I barraged them with articles showing how the countries that criticized us donated well under $1 million and how our private charity alone eclipsed the rest of the world combined. I also found a great article about how we selfishly sent the US Abraham Lincoln to provide medical care and clean water.
I didn’t hear anything back for awhile.
You can also blame the modern indoctrination centers more formally known as the Public School System for the heartbreak. I’ve met a large number of otherwise intelligent kids that cannot see beyond the dogma of the Left they hear every day. The Left understands and uses peer pressure quite well.
