It's a reflection of the boss. The boss also had a history before he became a candidate of being around and friends with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers. The liberals scolded us last year on how irrelevant all that is and how it's a smear campaign against Obama. But, if you live in that environment and you find nothing inherently wrong with that kind of radicalism. Then a Van Jones will show up. You'll watch him years and years and you'll think this guy is perfectly mainstream.

Juan apparently cares to look at himself in the mirror occasionally and so is inclined to commit acts of candor when he has to.
His Washington Post piece 20 years ago about the smear campaign againt Clarence Thomas was as forthright a column as I have ever read and it has earned him a great deal of respect from me.

It’s frustrating - nobody’s perfect. We are never going to agree with anyone 100 percent of the time. That’s just the way it is. Sometimes hesays things we don’t agree with - but a huge part of the time, we do agree with him. I think I love him. That would still mean I could disagree with him about 20% of the time. Or something. But when he’s right, he’s REALLY right.
With all these radicals in one administration makes it all the more important to discredit the whole damned bunch.Maybe that will render them damaged goods for any future posts or posititions in an administration.
He is a psychiatrist after all ... he knows mental illness when he sees it !!!

My point—which I obvious failed to make—is that Krauthammer knows what mental conditioning in Jarrett and Obama has colored their vision of what is America, and they actually thought Van Jones would not be that far from mainstream.

I have heard that she does a lot more for Obama than just pick minions for him.
I guess he looks at both sides of the coin.
Sometimes I find that honest, and other times I want to slap him.
He is correct this time. Obama is steeped in these people, but we all knew that already.
