Van Jones, the Cop-hating, Race-Baiting, Communist Truther, finally resigned. The Council of Environmental Quality (CEQ) Released his resignation letter after midnight so it would receive less attention. Of course the press hasn't been covering the story anyway. While most of the media will blame the resignation on Glen Beck, Fox News, and the Right-wing blogisphere, in the Jones was done in by his own words (and signature). He would still be in his office if he followed his own advice "I'm willing to forgo the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep satisfaction of radical ends"
This is a good day for the future of the United States.

He never should have gotten in, but I guess the good news for him is that now he can go back to saying what he really thinks.
