Here is video from tonight of Bill O'Reilly pummeling NBC and Keith Olbermann. O'Reilly said NBC's entire operation is "near collapse," and if Jay Leno does not do well this fall, the network will collapse.
He pointed out that the ratings have gotten so bad at MSNBC that Fox News' Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly in the 9 AM morning slot outdid MSNBC's primetime 8 PM slot by 38%!
He also took an unnamed shot at MSNBC's Keith Olbermann at the end by pointing out that a person at that network said everyone who watches Fox News is "paranoid" and a "racist." Below is video of Olbermann in his pathetic, convoluted way claiming to be the number one news show on cable, and making the attack on Fox News viewers as being "racists." . . . . (Watch Videos)

Which begs the questions. Why in the world would a corporation, like NBC, seemingly in business to make money, continue with the same trends that put them in the tank in the first place? Could NBC be a participant in what Beck discussed tonight regarding a framework in place to seize power?
We used to watch Leno nearly nightly. We have watched Conan at The Tonight Show all of twice. Last night night was the second time. And I quickly turned it off because he made a lame Pres. Bush joke. Uh...hasn’t he been out of office for nearly a year now? Instead of hammering Obama like they did with former presidents, he resorted to an unfunny and stupid Bush joke. Even the audience barely laughed.
Lame, unfunny, clearly biased. No thanks, NBC.
I’m not one to put much stock in anything O’Reilly says but I believe him on this one.
You have to figure that moving Leno to 10 pm was a sign of outright desperation. I can’t imagine it will work. Does anyone watch Leno (or Letterman) anymore? And, why would you?
They did it to themselves.
Just think how well Fox would do if they put a conservative in O’Reilly’s time slot. Glenn Beck has almost as many viewers as O’Reilly and has about 1/5 the number of people to draw from.
If Mr. Beck had a better time slot he’d be king of the news show hill by far.
I wonder how long Megyn will be on maternity leave??
And Julie Bandaras is getting married this weekend!! (sigh...)
All i have to do is build me one of those great working, cheap HDTV antennas from the web then figure out how to get fast internet minus the TV then see ya later cable tv!
Soon....
Yes, I think you’re right. NBC may have been promised the keys to the Obama kingdom after the takeover is complete. They’ve done a great job auditioning for the role of government propagandist.
How long before Obama taxes Fox to keep NBC alive?
“Lenos opening night lineup: Jay-Z, Rhianna, and Kanye West. Ill pass.”
Your’e kidding us?
Uggh. Can you say “The Chevy Chase Show?”
And their Olympic coverage sucks.
ABC did it so much better in the '70s.
I thought Leno retired ?
“I wont buy a newspaper unless its the Washington Times.”
And I won’t do that after they sold my email addy to spammers last week. Hit that “unsubscribe” button in record time. And, WashTimes must’ve anticipated it since all of the email contact info for their top mgmt was gone from their website.
NBC will not collapse. If necessary TARP funds or other government money will prop up NBC. NBC is becoming GBC- Government Broadcasting Network- and the government will not let it fail.
“I have thinking if we FReepers could give the WashTimes a boost by paying $39 a year for their e-edition? Its costs them basically nothing to produce so it would all be gravy and could let them employ another writer or two.”
Not after they sold my email addy to spammers...
Sent a formal letter and canceled my local paper late last year. My wife recently suggested we restart our subscription - no way! Not supporting that liberal rag. After 10 years I canceled my subscription to the Wall Street Journal right after the election last year as well. I sent them an e-mail telling them that watching the WSJ run front page, above-the-fold pro-Obama stories - with photo - nearly every single day (no exageration)for months was simply too much. Gone.
NO MORE! I will not hand bullets to those aiming to shoot me.
