What Vick did was terrible. But, I noticed Kelly often stands on a soapbox. Not surprised at all that she would hold the crime of animal abuse higher than, as she put it, getting “drunk in a bar, and you have a bar fight, and it winds up really hurting somebody.” That’s a mistake, according to Megyn. In her view, Stallworth made a “mistake”, though he spent only 30 days in prison. Then she compares hurting animals, “the most innocent among us,” to crimes against children.
Animal abuse is horrific, but come on, Megyn...
That said, now that Vick has been signed to a team in my neck of the woods, there are a few pitbulls I’d love to hire someone like him to “take care of.” I’ll take everyone’s word that there are sweet, lovable pitbulls. I feel sorry for any innocent animal who’s mistreated. People who mistreat them should be punished. But, some pitbulls really do need killing, and I can think of a few who pose a serious threat, have gone onto other people’s property and killed smaller animals.
It might be different if it was just animal abuse. It was much more than that. It was profiting from gambling on animal killing not just abuse where he put up most of the money. He was also involved in selling drugs where other people used his vehicles to do it. You don't think he knew about that?~
