The latest VERY interesting information from the AIP Town Hall Meeting List thread:
--------------------------------------------------
California:
I spoke with Diane Feinstein's scheduler this morning.
She said Senator Feinstein has decided not to have any healthcare town hall meetings during the month of August.
Asked if the senator would have any public meetings of any sort during the recess, she indicated there would be none.
The scheduler suggested attending a "Constituent Breakfast" on Thursday mornings ... in Washington, D.C. after Sen. Feinstein returns from the August break.
So Californians have to fly to Washington, D. C. after the August recess, if they want to attend a public meeting with Senator Feinstein?
Asked about where information could be found regarding other events the senator planned to attend here in California, the scheduler said she believed the senator's schedule is not publicized.
Conclusion: I think she's hiding.
Savvy
Sure do admire those strong women in power. (snark)
Those who doubt my theory, keep asking yourself, "Are they behaving like people who care about votes?"
It’s the smart move. If I were a Democrat politician I too would be hiding in the tall grass for a while.
Hey Di, we know where you live! You can run but you can’t hide!
Please don’t post any info on future town halls, as they play into the hands of the SEIU/ACORN folks who are saying health care overhaul opponents are organized.
I’d be impressed if the SEIU/ACORN crowd can finger out how to get on the interwebs.
Are you kidding?
I could care less what they say.
Citizens need to know where to find their supposed representatives in the rare cases when they come out of hiding.
We need to go after ACORN and their related organizations big time. We need the terms “ACORN” and “SEIU” to become as distasteful as “NAZI” and “KKK”.
This can work. I was reading a SEIU webpage the other day, and every comment was from SEIU members who were complaining to their leadership that they were ashamed of their own union. ACORN members are jumping ship as well. They seem to be strong organizations, but they can self implode easily enough.
Yes, sarcastic. SEIU is waxing indignant over how folks are organizing against socialized medicine.
“Please dont post any info on future town halls, as they play into the hands of the SEIU/ACORN folks who are saying health care overhaul opponents are organized.”
I think we’re playing into their hands if we DO NOT organize. Who are they to tell us we can’t organize? They’re organized. They don’t care what WE think.
We have freedom of assembly as much as they do. Don’t buy into the manipulation.
Ah.
Wellllllllllllllllllll
we certainly know she’s hiding her head [a dark vacuum itself]
in a very dark place.
She will be holding court after the August recess.
let’s bring back a blast from the Carter Administration...
“Day 23 for Diane Feinstein in Captivity...”
Please.........grab your boot straps and pull up!!
How is she going to campaign for governor if she is hiding from Californians?

Exactly.
Same thing goes for every politician in America who will not face the people.
