Further evidence of my theory ("What If They Don't Care What You Think?") advanced earlier that they intend to pass this regardless of what the voters say. They think either ACORN will bail them out in 2010, or they will get a "doomsday machine" in place and be rewarded with other jobs from O in gubment.
Those who doubt my theory, keep asking yourself, "Are they behaving like people who care about votes?"

It’s the smart move. If I were a Democrat politician I too would be hiding in the tall grass for a while.

Please don’t post any info on future town halls, as they play into the hands of the SEIU/ACORN folks who are saying health care overhaul opponents are organized.

More proof. They DO NOT CARE what we think. The fix is in and 0care will pass with a radical version and 50 votes in the Senate.

How is she going to campaign for governor if she is hiding from Californians?

Was it Feinstein, Pelousy or Boxer that had the senior citizens who came to her California office arrested for trespassing?? If it was Diane, can’t say I blame her for hiding out - she deserves evrything she gets from her constituents for doing that.

I think she's hiding. In her defense - and, please, I will take my punishment for even bringing this up - (in the past) she only became mayor of San Francisco when a disgruntled supervisor, Dan White, gunned down both Mayor Moscone and Supervisor Milk. That's gotta be somewhere in the back of her mind when she sees these "disgruntled" protestors.
