Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).
Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.

The release is in response to a ludicrous rumor being spread by Alaskan CNN stringer Dennis Zaki. Zaki, who previously bought into rumors of Trig Truth, picked up these allegations from the same source - the rabidly anti-Palin, Trig Truth-espousing anonymous blogger "Gryphen" of the blog "Immoral Minority". Gryphen is a friend of Zaki's, along with fellow Team Truth members Shannyn Moore, Phil Munger, and "AKMuckraker" of the Mudflats.
The rumor was already being picked up and spread around the echo chamber of the Alaskan Team Truther blogs...not only by Zaki, but by fellow Trig Truther "Doctor Phil" Munger of Progressive Alaska.
Sounds like the Palins are cutting these rumors off at the knees. Good for them.

The only Bristol pregnancy rumors I remember being dismissed were the ones that said her brother was actually her son. Those deserved to be mocked out of existence.

They can say/repeat/find all sorts of rumors about the Palins . . . but these same people simply cannot bring themselves to bear to ask why the occupant of the White House cannot produce something as simple as his birth certificate.
That’s a story, regardless of its content, just waiting to happen. Instead, they choose to orgasm over rumors involving a defeated VP candidate.

My local news station (CBS) just announced the story, saying the Palins were getting a divorce, she had purchased land in Montana, and she and the kids were moving there.
I remember the Carol Burnett lawsuit too. Boy was she steamed! That lawsuit took years and a lot of money to get through the courts, but Burnett hung in there, won, and gave the money to charity.
Gosh. There used to be a First Amendment.

How can she be moving to Montana when she is supposedly moving to Chicago, no wait, August 1st she is moving to the H Hamptons, no wait, I thought she was moving to Texas. Wow, that Sarah sure buys a lot of houses. Keep note of every single media outlet that repeats the lie, they can be sued
I think Palin has been attacked far worse than Bush. It only got really bad for Bush around election time when the Media was propping up Kerry or Obama(they would indirectly attack McCain through Bush). She isn’t running for anything, is out of office, but I think they view her as such a threat to the political establishment that they need to keep piling on to her. She is really the most hated Republican since Joe McCarthy or Richard Nixon.
To be fair, some of you guys were pretty dismissive about the Bristol Palin pregnancy rumors too.

Gasoline waste, how do they figure that? Is driving now a cardinal sin for the libs? Those of us that actually work and pay bills need to drive to get things done. If we stayed home an collected a welfare check like much of the democratic base nothing would get done in this country.
