3 to 1 Gang Up on Cop at White House “Beer Summit”

Plus: Black Cop who supports Crowley called "Uncle Tom and "Traitor!"

Photobucket
Barry, Joe and the boys do some brew in the White House Rose Garden!

In a statement shortly after the Beer Summit Obama said: "I have always believed that what brings us together is stronger than what pulls us apart." Yeah. That's why he accused the Police of acting "stupidly" even know he didn't have the facts. I hope he learned something.

As for Crowley, he later expressed his respect for the President and revealed that his conversation with Gates boiled down to "two gentlemen who agreed to disagree on a particular issue." No doubt Gates took the opportunity to stick it to "whitey" (his favorite phrase to demonstrate his neutrality on the issue of race)

Crowley's statement follows in this eight minute video. Note that no one apologized to him for anything:

A Bud Light for the president and a Blue Moon for Crowley. Gates drank a Samuel Adams Light, not a Red Stripe. Biden drank a non-alcoholic beer, Buckler. All served up by a white guy so Gate's doesn't go ballistic.

Massive unemployment, wars overseas and huge political issues at home and Obama drops it all for a photo op to show what a regular guy he is! Give me a break!

I could not disagree more. Crowley came right out after the event and faced the press, did not back down, and looked like the smart professional cop he is. Gates slinked off to some hole and released a ‘statement’ on his website because he was afraid to face the press. Obama did the same.

The biggest story from today was Sgt Lahsley’s letter blasting Gates and Obama and saying they were not only wrong, but had set back race relations in the country. Lou Dobbs read the letter right after the Press conference and it just reinforced that Crowley was 100% in the right and Obama and Gates were not only wrong, but too afraid to face the press afterwards.

"Sgt Crowley could have been part of the scheme too?"

I guess when your poll numbers are dropping and everything you touch turns to crap and being cool is all that matters, then yeah, anything is possible. ;)

Is it possible that if you turn down a beer summit, the IRS could come to visit?

Yes. A little lower and to the right of the red circle.

BTW, I have it on good authority that the celebrity in the circle is the Hamburglar...

We're in agreement.

I was shaming Obama for using the cop's good will (what's Crowley going to do, not show up?) to clean up his mess.

Crowley showed more class than Obama, Gates and Biden combined.

Now, as I say, let's hear those open-mic tapes that Crowley made. And lets see Obama be made the fool he is.

O is not going to serve America well during the defining moment of his Presidency, whatever that may be. His own words dragged him into this controversy and he things he can extricate himself from it with a conversation over beers.

Officer Crowley was the only person at that table that has class. The other three are leeches.

I’d go with Crowley, then the waiter.

Like most leftists, 0 is just another elitist tool. “Beer” summit was patronizing and condescending. He assumed the way to this young policeman was through alcohol.

Ebony, and ivory....la-dee-dah

What I want to know is this: what happens if Gates gets arrested again, or even pulled over? Does he now have blanket immunity? Has his "race" elevated him above the law?

I still think it would have been ‘just desserts’ if while Gates was attending the “beer summit” his house was broken into.

After all, he has made it perfectly clear he does not want police to respond suspicious activity at his abode because he’s a black man. I would guess that after being slapped down by the President of the United States, the police would be reluctant to respond to a call to that address. And what neighbor in their right mind would phone it in after the awful treatment to Lucia Whalen by the liberal press?
