All Sarah is trying to do is play a little power poker with the RINO's on behalf of conservatives. Mike Huckabee and the Paulies are trying to exploit it for their own benefit.

Politics. Geesh.

Does anyone have a link where Governor Palin even hinted to going third party. Also, I’ve never heard Rush say this either, perhaps a link to his quote also.

Thanks in advance.

Rush knows 3rd parties always lose.
Hello Ross Perot...and hello Bubba.

There is no congressional base for third party candidates and the democrats WOULD LOVE IT because it would mean Obama would be re-elected

Here is what Rush really said...

RUSH:
Now, I have no clue what she’s going to do. I don’t know anybody who does besides her. We got a Washington Post story that says she’s going to go out and campaign for conservative Democrats. When I watched her speech when she announced she was going to leave the governorship of Alaska, I didn’t hear the word Republican mentioned once. If I’m Sarah Palin and I’m conservative, the Republican Party’s been just as mean-spirited to her as the Democrats have. A lot of them have. A lot of Republican Party, a lot of the so-called conservative media have been. I don’t know if she’s going to campaign for conservative Democrats but if she believes that conservatism is the way to go... But one thing that does slightly worry me about this is this whole third-party business. Yeah, it’s remote but it’s still a possibility out there, and there are a lot of people pushing a third party, and that’s...

Third parties, they lose. They just lose. Third parties never end up with a congressional or Senate candidate winning. It’s not the way to go but we’ll save that for later if that actually begins to transpire, or we see it beginning to transpire.

............

THIRD PARTIES , THEY LOSE. THEY JUST LOSE

The overlooked poll stat of the day:

Who would you vote for today?

Obama 42% (46)

someone else 39% (30)

“No better way to keep Obama in office until 2016. Third parties are a one way ticket to nowhere.”

Yes, The GOP will yet again be able to blame someone else for their next ineffective election campaign.

A GOP in the mold of Bush is what begat Obama. So far, not much has changed.

This GOP in the mold of Bush has declared Palin a non-starter. She could, if she chose to, kill the chances of the GOP winning significant gains. So who’s the non-starter? The GWB’s GOP, or Palin?

There is no link because she never hinted it. All she did was say she was going to speak out nationally on conservative issues and that she would campaign for conservatives regardless of party. That's all she said.

Can't help you on the Limbaugh link but I don't think he put it the way Newsmax said he did.

Mike Huckabee, however, certainly did say it.

Yeah, it’s funny having a thread about something Sarah herself never said. Come on, someone here can find me the quote where she said that she was leaving the GOP right. Sorry for being sarcastic but what next, a rumor about Sarah joining the Green Party

"Heck, at this point I wish there was a second party."

Bingo! We have a winner. The only person that can get me back into the Republican party is Sarah Palin. As far as I am concerned they both suck. They are both anti-American and both deserve ash heap of history status.

Thanks, I didn’t think she did, she’s too smart for that. I just got the exact Rush quote up thread, I knew there was something fishy.

Yeah, it’s funny having a thread about something Sarah herself never said.

They should have started the article out by saying "hypothetically speaking, what if Governor Palin"  "What if Rush said"

One more time just for good measure, you wrote,
“ When we nominate CONSERVATIVES, we win. It’s just that simple.

When we go squishy, we lose.. and, if we go third party, we dissapear. All is not lost yet. WIN in the Party, and make the RINO’s hold their nose and vote for us!”

The libtards like to stir the pot.

Yup, and Mike Huckabee and the Paulies are happy to join in...LOL. Huckabee would LOVE to drive a wedge into Palin's support. He would happily stick the knife in just like the libtards.

Highly doubt it. But, if the established elite GOP keep up their attacks, if I were Sarah, I’d put them in my sight as well. It wouldn’t be too hard to lump the left and the elite GOPers in the same wagon.

Pretty much what she did in Alaska.

...problem with a third party right now is that the Dems have too big a chunk of the electorate this is way different than late 1850s before 1860 election...

To tell you the truth, it's too early to start this kind of detailed arguments now...but I do agree we have to start SENDING A MESSAGE to the GOP and anyone else who cares to listen RIGHT NOW!... No time to waste.

I consider myself a SOCIAl-CONSERVATIVE first and Republican a distanced second. I did not vote for anyone in the last election and I am GLAD MaCaca lost... Because even though we all lost... SOCIAL-CONSERVATIVES would lost EVEN MORE if McLame would have won... Because he would have moved the entire party to the LEFT. Can you imagine McLame's daughter today: MEGHAN MCCAIN, pitching her support for the fags?... and his wife, supports them as well. Not to mention his ex-campaign manager, STEVE SCHMIDT, who finally came out also for the fags as in the Picture below. So you see, McCain would have been a HUGE.... loss for social-conservatives. The conclusion would have been that "we were not longer needed." in others we would have been destroyes as a political force.

I am convinced the "GOP = THE REPUBLICAN LEFT" knew that the LEFT would have a chance to water down the social-conservative vote. BUT, like me, many social-conservatives did NOT VOTE for McCain and we are PROUD of it!

Winning sometimes is NOT winning... and losing, like we did last year... sometimes offers hope you (the group) will be taken seriously the next time around or... what the heck... Let's not fool around and create a third party IF THE RIGHT leader comes along... Why not, if you are going to 'lose' anyway, you might as well lose but keep your principles. etc etc etc.

Again, I don't mean to come out too strong against you, ok? You just gave me the chance to say something on this subject. My message is for everyone, especially for those people out there who come lurking in here in FR. They are the ones I am interested in.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the "weasel" who tried to bamboozle social-conservatives into trying to elect Lefty-Traitor McCain and move the party to the LEFT... He thought that Palin would put MaCaca over the top... NAHHHH... We are not that dumb. And now, after the election, his CAMPAIGN MANAGER, is showing his true colors.

Warning: this links to the Huffinton Post!... We should not go there, but that is where the article came from)
