For a party that is supposed to be the American Hizballah (Party of God) the GOP sure seems to be incurring his wrath.

Say what you want about President Obama, but he's never been accused of having a "wide stance," chasing after male pages, or cheating on his wife. While the party of family values leaves a lustful path of destruction, a liberal family man has won the White House.

Until everyone realizes that all the things they put their faith in (parties, savings, education, jobs, houses, etc.) are unworthy, we’ll not get to the point where we realize that there is only One Who is faithful. In fact, He goes by Faithful and True.

Thanks a lot for touching one of my sore points that has been festering for sometime. While I am not against prayer just think how much further ahead the Reps would be if even if just the FReepers that pray for 0 got up and went out and told 5 people a week about the GOOD things the Reps have done and are trying to do. Just spend half of the time you do praying on working for the cause - even if it is Conservative values not GOP. The Dems spend WAAAYYYYY more time spreading the word than the Reps or Conservatives do. I get two or three a month or more wanting to sign me up for some Dems cause. In nine years at the same address only ONE Rep candidate.

God does hate sin wherever it is found, but he also works through sinful human beings and nations. People are called upon to be faithful, not successful (from the world’s point of view). It is impossible to determine the invisible from the visible, that is God’s will by appearances. A Christian lives by faith, not by sight. God’s will will be done with or without us.

Wise words. I agree completely. I know God does not "hate" as we conceive it. I'm just asking a rhetorical question. I am tired of politicians invoking God just to reel in the believers. That too is taking his name in vain.
