My problem w/ Rep. Paul is his age. I think he will be in his mid-70s in 2012, so I wish we could find a much younger real conservative w/ the respect for the Constitution that he has.

Gov. Palin Supports the War against the IslamOfascists.
Her son is in the Army in Iraq.
Also see post #30
L Ron Paul is against war period.
He believes our actions brought on 9/11
L Ron Paul’s views are more in line with Code Pinkos and
other Left Wing loons

And that my friends is exactly why THE LEFT IS HYSTERICAL REGARDING Palin.
They already know she’s a WINNER and that’s why they are going to do everything possible to discredit her ...
BUT IT’S NOT GOING TO WORK!!!!
We still have our Common Sense!!!!!!! Thanks Glenn Beck!!

However his ideas/suggestion of employing letters of marque and such in the War on Terror was, IMO, pretty good... they could do well on Somali pirates too. I think that w/o a formal declaration of war by Congress, writing Letters of Marque & Reprisal is one of the few constitutional methods of dealing w/ that problem. Leave it to Rep. Paul to acrually adhere to the Constitution! How dare he!

Easy remedy. Have Jindal’s birth certficate “disappear” in India.
We have a sitting POTUS who doesn;t have one either.
To: VicVega
Wasn’t Jindall, born in the USA? That there is a natural born citizen...I think.

Looks to me like that totals about 208% of the respondants.
Was ACORN doing the poll?

I would love for them to do a poll in Iowa and New Hampshire. Just to get a feel from those two states. I believe that she will win South Carolina but she needs to win either Iowa or New Hampshire for sure!

I know the media and the Democrats think Palin would be easy pickings in 2012, but they should be careful what they wish for. Palin's handlers (or McCain's) constantly put her in bad situations with Couric and Gibson, and her family matters have become tabloid fodder, but the woman has undeniable charisma and star quality.
The media will of course go even beyond the usual strong job they usually do for the Democrats in 2012, but depending on circumstances and with a couple of strong debate performances, Palin can win in '12. Just watching the liberal establishment's collective head explode would be worth it.

The painting just reminds me how few good presidents we’ve had.... Teddy Roosevelt and Richard Nixon are an embarassment to that group.

Yes, Jindal was born in the US.
After reading over the exceptions of a natural born citizen, his father was not a diplomat in the US but a student attending college. So therefore, the “subject to the jurisdiction” of the United States.”, would not apply.
So I guess he would qualify. Glad I checked. I stand/sit corrected.

Sadly I’m only 27, so won’t be able to hold the office of president should I win in 2012. But thank you for thinking about me. ;)

Jindal would be perfect as Chief of Staff but the info on his status was helpful. If we had Palin THEN Jindal in the Cabinet, we would accomplish a lot of things.
