The following refers to a post Conservatives 4 Palin made Wednesday and to which others are responding:
"Recently we learned of a malicious desecration of a photo of the Governor and baby Trig that has become an iconic representation of a mother's love for a special needs child.
The mere idea of someone doctoring the photo of a special needs baby is appalling. To learn that two Alaskans did it is absolutely sickening. Linda Kellen Biegel, the official Democrat Party blogger for Alaska, should be ashamed of herself and the Democratic National Committee should be ashamed for promoting this website and encouraging this atrocious behavior.
Babies and children are off limits. It is past time to restore decency in politics and real tolerance for all Americans. The Obama Administration sets the moral compass for its party. We ask that special needs children be loved, respected and accepted and that this type of degeneracy be condemned."

Our girls are so damned HOT !!
I'm about done with turning the other cheek.
I can't get excited about this. The persons responsible for this are very immature.
I’m hoping this is only part of the continuing Owellization of our language and not an intentional deification by an over-zealous sidegirl.
Not that Orwellization is anything good, of course.
I especially was amused by the “diva’s” defense of the pic.
She claimed that it was a pic of a local talk radio host on Trig’s face and we all were just too stupid to get it.
She’s using the Letterman defense:
“Gee, we meant Bristol not Willow-y’all are too stupid to understand that?”
Sheesh. Dime to donuts, this pathetic chick doesn’t have kids.
In other words he could tell when someone was trying to “wind his tail”.
Desecration must be pretty high on the “emotional index” within the lexicon.
Defacement is a much more accurate word.
WOW! She gives new meaning to “carbon imprint.” I wonder if she supports “cap & trade.”
Lucky for her, you can’t desecrate a photo which is already butt-ugly.
Pictures of Jaba the Hut dancing in my head...
‘Desecration’ isn’t the word they want to use here.
What is it about Alaskan Democrats? They are the least civil people in America.
I find her appropriately named, this Beigel. Her face looks like the north end of the world’s fattest southbound beagle.
One entry found.
Main Entry: des·e·crate

Inflected Form(s): des·e·crat·ed; des·e·crat·ing Etymology: de- + -secrate (as in consecrate) Date: 1675
1 : to violate the sanctity of : profane
2 : to treat disrespectfully, irreverently, or outrageously (the kind of shore development
that has desecrated so many waterfronts John Fischer)
She is a waste of oxygen.
Technically, that is true. But defacement or vandalism is not strong enough term. Desecration is commonly used incorrect when describing the flag. I am not sure what the most appropriate word to describe this sick act is. Maybe we can call it Biegelation.
Well, I have to agree that many newscasters are now insinuating scare words into their work, so as to semi-subliminally influence the viewers. I’m sure most people have enough sense to tell a hawk from a handsaw, but I’d bet there are studies showing that TV-watchers lose a good chunk of that ability to discern. I know I irritate people when I correct the record the newscaster just tried to twist. I should be less negative, they say.
I don’t know what the solution is to that, so I just shut up.
As to Brunner, the only work of his I’ve read is ‘Stand on Zanzibar’, which is so huge and so diverse what you wrote could be in there, but I don’t recall it.
It’s way past time conservatives started giving liberals a dose of their own medicine.
Have you seen Nikki Haley of SC?
