The best & the brightest on the left go into politics. The best on the right run their own businesses. So it is no surprise that the left is far more adept, even expert at the art of hardball politics. And they are telling us something profound.
The left is telling us something many feel, many find as a hunch, that Sarah Palin is the most dangerous threat to the Øbama administration with no close second. The left is telling us this by their "over the top" attacks. Not just the Letterman assaults, but the constant barrage of grievances filed against her in Alaska. The attacks every day on Palin for no apparent reason -- except that the left seems to see her quite differently from any Republican candidate. A difference of kind, not of degree.
I wouldn’t want Albert as president nor Clinton again. Being a great president has more to do with wisdom than IQ. Reagan had it, Sarah has it. Rare to see in politics, but when you see it, don’t dismiss it so easily.
I could be wrong. My knowledge about her is limited to what I see on television. I don’t live in Alaska, although I did back in the early 50’s. Reagan always came across to me as a smart person who had good/great instincts about right and wrong and where he wanted to go. I don’t yet get those vibes off Palin.
Take the Letterman thing. She sounded shrill and less than sincere there. The added thing about the military sounded like some third rate political hack writer added it in. About as puerile as say, skateboarding in the White House.

I won't flame you, but if you feel that apathetic, why are you here?
If it's all going to end in darkness and death, then why not spend your time with escapist entertainment to ease your worried mind?
Not trying to beat up on you, but I just don't understand people who hang around here who are convinced that it's all doom and gloom. What's the point, if there's no hope?
Time to quit the Oprah book club, and move into something reality based.
Between now and then so much will have taken place so horrible in this nation even the liberals will be begging for Sarah.

Still trying to pin him down. I would have voted for him just because the GOP screwed up so bad over the years that I would probably have had to stowaway to Denmark or Canada or some other civilized country. BO talks too much and I can’t stand to listen to him on TV. I wish him the best and hope he either does real good (preferable) or real bad so the country can get torn down and started over in a hopefully better way.
I think BO is smart, and sincere mostly but I hope he is not as naive as he seems sometimes.

I opined on the web that Letterman should look up the legal definition of the term "fighting words" and that a 30 minute, private sitting with Todd (or Sarah for that matter) would probably cure him of the desire to ever speak of the statutory rape of one of their daughters ever again.

Dr. Jack Wheeler completely supports Sarah Palin that speaks volumes....if you don’t know who he is do a search...He helped Ronald Reagan become governor and president. He was part of the Reagan Team who took down the Soviet Union.........Jack says she’ll be president in 2012.
I’m not gay, but I do think a person can be both weird and smart. Take Camille Paglia for example. Or George Orwell. I read somewhere the Count of Monte Crisco went both ways.
