A journalist carries some connotation of objectivity. Katie Couric, however, subscribes not to the lessons of objectivity. She made her bias well known at a speech at Princeton University and it was not well liked by all.
“I thought it was an awkward mix of sober and humorous moments,” said John Walters, Princeton University Class of ’09.
After a string of hostile remarks and sexual innuendos, she gave some advice to the graduates.
Next, don't be a hater. Princeton has taught you to think critically, to approach things with a healthy dose of skepticism...and that's a good thing, as Martha Stewart would say. But you really must guard against the cynicism and nastiness that are so pervasive today.
Our advice to Katie: Don't be a hypocrite.
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that people are fleeing from Katie's newscast in a big way. Since the beginning of the year, more than two million people have stopped watching the "CBS Evening News"; and as the viewership hemorrhage continues, the managing editor and anchor of "CBS Evening News" find her show in a very distant last place.

I’ve been around long enough to engage the left in conversation from the Vietnam war era on.
We had better wake up to how “dangerous” and “criminal” the left has always viewed the most basic American values. They see us as killers who are about to destroy the world.
This justifies them doing just about anything to us. They hate us and they plan to eliminate us from American society and replace us with their fringe thinking. They are totally intolerant.
Another one bites the dust , hey hey, another one bites the dust.
What she means is ONLY hate conservatives.

Couric = a breathing, talking, and walking contradiction, but then again, most liberals are.

I think instead, they regard us as an obstacle to their complete control, and unbridled power. When one scratches a leftist, one usually finds a megalomaniac under the 'tolerant, enlightened' veneer. Everything else you said I agree with. Any criminal activity in furtherance of their cause is perfectly justifiable.

That too but their favorite adjective for a non-leftist is “dangerous”. This marks us for forced extinction.

Katie - President Obama has stated he’s opposed to “gay marriage.” Does that make him a homophobe like Carrie Prejean??
