Face Forward has long been a critic of ACORN and prior to this website the publisher has written letters asking for an investigation. It looks like the mainstream media (at least Glen Beck and Fox) has finally gotten on board. I don't see how Obama's administration can continue to publicly support the organization any longer without suffering fatal damage.
I encourage everyone to continue to write your representative asking for a full investigation and full disclosure of all affiliate organizations. This group has more affiliate organizations that a centipede has legs. If it is not uncovered now, the organization will continue to pull off it's voter fraud and garner government funds under one of it's other names.

You also need to continue to push your representative to depoliticize the Census. It is another tool that the administration is trying to use to ensure Democratic dominance.

BTW, it’s located in New Orleans, that bastion of honesty.
No matter which entity that is part of ACORN is getting a donation, the donation first goes to CCI, and they dole out the money.
I wonder what percentage they keep as a fee?

CCI also only has one client, or shall I say a series of clients...ACORN and all its affiliates. Whenever ACORN receives any money, be it from the federal governmnent or other resources, it first goes to CCI. Then, CCI filters that money to anyone of ACORN’s affiliates. Of course, this creates all sorts of room for malfeasance. If the government were to give money to say Health Care for America Now to provide health care services in poor neighborhoods, that money will first wind up at CCI. Where that money ends up is anyone’s guess. Why? That’s because CCI is a private company and so getting a look at its books is no easy task. In fact, I doubt more than a handful of politicians even know the relationship between ACORN and CCI.”
There’s also the little matter (not mentioned by the NYT) of SEIU’s connection to ACORN (remember those guys?):
According to the most recent Department of Labor [2007] financial disclosures, the ACORN-founded SEIU Local 880 in Illinois:
* Paid $191,820 in fees and expenses to Citizens Consulting, Inc. in New Orleans, a legal and lobbying firm run by ACORN founder Wade Rathke
* Paid another $31,745 to “CCI Legal”
* Paid $92,006 to “ILLINOIS ACORN WNB”
* Sent $181,366 to the Chicago Organizing Support Center (another stone in the ACORN pyramid)
And Obsama just gave them 5 billion of our money.
