Yes, thanks NY. I had heard the clip on The Mark Levin Show. I made my own copy of the audio and posted it on my blog on Friday. I thought the clip was a powerful illustration of the contemptuous way Obama deals with the private sector.

the first one isn't the same, the rest of them are basically duplicates of one another.

Maybe your statement, "I'm more than ready" is an indication of preparedness, because I am in no way eager for such a conflict, since it could turn out to be horrifying, and I am in an area that would not exactly be favorable for the survival of me or my family.

However, that I am thinking more and more along these lines is shown by an email I just sent to a friend this morning:

"We are concerned that this nation, and, indeed, the entire world, are headed for some major league turmoil. I am trying to come up with a way to network with other believers in this area in case communications become broken down. This could happen if Iran or N. Korea launched an EMP device. (In case you do not know what this is, I refer you to John Hagee's book, Jerusalem Countdown, pp. 63 & 64). There are many indications that the Iranians are working on such a weapon and would not hesitate to use it. We could be reduced to the status of a 3rd World nation almost instantaneously.

There is another scenario of concern, i.e., a civil war in Mexico that could lead to a takeover there of a regime ala that of "El Hugo Loco" of Venezuela, the "crackpot of Caracas." We could be flooded with illegal immigrants literally by the millions, again, with an attedant breakdown of law, order, and communications.

Then there are earthquakes and other terror events that could disrupt things for a shorter period of time.

So I propose that concerned Christians get together and have regular meetings where we discuss the aforementioned and come up with strategies that would give us an edge in time of trouble. Isn't it obvious our government is not only incompetent to deal with major turmoil, but that its current show of weakness may actually make such turmoil inevitable?

Anyway, we'll be praying for you. Let us know if you are interested in this plan.

In Christ our Lord,

XXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
(personal name withheld)

I did not mention a possible civil conflict in the scenarios listed in my email, but I think it is, nonetheless, prudent to develope such networks in any case, with aternate means of communication (older types of CB radios, for example) pre-arranged gathering places, stockpiles of essentials, etc.

I agree with you that Christians need to network right now. As far as my “I’m more than ready” statement, I really am eager for a conflict because if it happens in the next few years, we can still win. If we let too much more of the international left’s groundwork get established in this country, we may not be able to win. I’m convinced that only a ‘conflict’ will fix this thing, and I’d rather win.

You might well be right. I can fully imagine Maobama inviting the PLA to keep order in our cities. I wouldn’t be too concerned about any forces sent over by the EU, they would do little or no fighting anyway. The PLA would be ruthless.

Well done. I've made similar points on other threads. Something to consider in addition: Louis Blanqui was a French socialist who thought that socialism could be put in place by a small, secret band of radicals. Those radicals would come into power, then suddenly stage a coup against society and bring about a socialist revolution. Marx and Lenin thought Blanqui was mad -- it wouldn't work because you need the mass of people below pushing for the revolution, you can't impose it from above -- least of all by a small group of crypto extremists!

But I believe that a Fabian strategy has laid the ground work, and that a Blanqui-style coup by Chicago radicals has destroyed the system of government given to us by the Founders.

Unfortunately, too many Republicans were among the “Fabians.” These Republicans often campaigned as conservatives, but once in office acted no better than their socialist counterparts.
