You may have seen the Frontpagemag.com article, "9/11 Truthers Meet Birth Certificate Brigade," by Andrew Walden, Friday, 4/17/2009.
Occam must be laughing (or crying) about Horowitz and his clique. They have blown his Razor to bits, just as the originators of the 9-11 truther movement do. Hope they don't step on any parts poking up from their carpet. Meanwhile, he and they are the ones detrimental to America here, not those who would hold Obama accountable to the Constitution's actual meaning.
I have to remember that Horowitz was once foolish enough to be an anti-American SDS revolutionary. He and his inner circle still seem to have problems with cognition and elementary intellectual honesty, despite their prior good work uncovering Marxist operatives in the United States.
It would seem an eerie, TwilightZone lapse of perspective by Horowitz -- misfeasance of his readers/listeners’ trust -- the mind just going bye-bye.

Because the Birthers are doing a service for Obama. They are making Conservatives look like a bunch of 9/11 Troother nutjobs. If I were Obama, I'd do exactly the same thing. That's the whole point of Walden's article.

Obama is marxist scum, but we need to focus on productive ways to mitigate the damage that he will do to the country. We start by taking back the House and Senate in 2010. The birther stuff won't help us do that.
I’m with Horowitz, I’m skeptical of the birth certificate thing. It’s a valid line of inquiry, needs to be looked into, BUT it’s misdirected energy. You choose your battles, and with what little political capital the GOP has right now it needs to focus on fighting fights it can get the majority of the American people on its side on.
Strike where the enemy is weak, morally, ethically, ontologically, constitutionally, legally, reputationally, truthfully.

If he was going to he would have already done it. The main problem is that it would focus everyones attention on the investigation. Then there is the allegation that Kjellander called his old college roomate Karl Rove in 2004 in an effort to get Fitzgerald fired. Kjellander ties into Rezko and Blago and on and on and on. Kjellander’s attorney said the allegations concerning his clients attempt to get Fitzgerald fired were “factually wrong”. Only a lawyer would use a term like that. That just means Kjellander’s version might be slightly different from Fitzgeralds allegations. Ask yourself why the main stream media is not going after Rove. They think is the devil incarnate and should be in jail. What that tells me is that the media does not want to go after Rove because it would call attention to Fitzgeralds investigation and Obama. Something is afoot especially now that Mrs.Blago aint going to jail. That means that Blago might have cut a deal to keep her out of jail. One thing to keep in mind is this. If Fitzgerald does not go after Obama with the result being his eventual removal from office, Obama could pardon the bad guys eventually. Fitzgerald has put way, way to much work into this to let that happen.

Many Conservatives have fallen into Obama’s trap.
By refusing to release his Birth Certificate, Obama is ginning up the opposition, the Conservatives, which to the average American, looks like kook stuff...just like the 911 truthers.
He may or may not have a legitimate BC, but that is not the point. There are so many more important issues at hand. Focusing on this is taking up the bait to be distracted from the important things.
The fact is, that even if true, no court is going to overturn an American election where the winner, an African-American, won by 53% of the vote. Imagine the riots, the civil unrest it would cause... all out racial war in the US. It is not going to happen.
Close the loophole in the Constitution so it never happens, or never happens again.

There is no loophole. There is only lack of enforcement. And does allowing unbridled false precedent tend to help or hurt in matters of constitutionality?

There is no verification of credentials clause in the Constitution.
The “loophole” is that there is nothing in the Constitution requiring proof of age or citizenship to be shown.
IMO this is a distraction being used by Obama to make the right wing go nuts, so he can point to Conservatives as kooks, like the 911 truthers. Your post is an indication that it is working and Obama is profiting from this. He and his media minions can continue to demonize Conservatives as mindless kooks, and demonize our returning military as potential terrorists. He can trash our closet allies like Israel, and refuse to meet with its Prime Minister.

Obama was most likely born in Hawaii, but there is a small chance, IMO, that he wasn’t. In time, the truth will out.
In the meantime, I would counsel Conservatives to oppose Obama on his out of control spending, far left agenda to destroy our medical system and halt so called man made global warming, his far left wing unqualified appointments, and his far left foreign policy. His backing away from the Bush WOT policies, and his cozying up to foreign dictators and America hating tyrants is far more dangerous to the Republic.
The Tea Parties were a great start.

Neoconservatives came to dislike the counterculture of the 1960s and what they saw as anti-Americanism in the non-interventionism of the movement against the Vietnam War.
AS someone who lived through those days, the NeoCons are the ones who fought and exposed people like Weatherman bomber Bill Ayers (Obama’s friend) and the thousands of
other Marxist who were bombing, rioting, etc.

have questions also, But the lengthly battle that would go on, for a year or more while the enemy, (yes there are terrorists who have weapons: chemical, massive bombs,
airplanes, etc. and they have all been used already)
I think you may know first hand about ground zero a few miles from you in NY.
Not to mention the war in the Middle East, Al-Qaida’s cousins in the Horn of Africa picking off Cargo Ships
and the list can go on.
The Birth Cert. issue is not a one week or one month deal.
The legal grinding would go on till the next election.

As for Ground Zero, I often worship at Trinity Church on the corner of Broadway and Wall Street, just two blocks from Saint Paul’s Chapel, right in front of Ground Zero. We lost friends and neighbors in the 911 attacks, and I share your concern about priorities.
Yeah, it ended with the GOP being (wrongly) embarrassed for impeaching the President for lying under oath, witness tampering, and obstruction of justice (oops, sorry, I mean “for a blowjob”).
We should have focused like a laser-beam on getting Clinton in prison over his dealings with the Chinese.

Obama will not release his original birth certificate because it would end his usurpation of the US. It would totally destroy his mythology, and without his mythology, he's less than zero.
