Actually the tulips have come out and irises are beginning to bloom.

The garden is in the ground but it is still cold. About 55 degrees today.

We are suddenly in high summer here. I don't know if it's in the 80s but probably is. Though the air is still late spring -- laden with allergens. *\:-(

Some animal, (racoons?) have been eating the tops of my tulips. So I planted a bunch of annuals to offer them a balanced diet.
