Good idea!
I may lie down early, today, but for now, I’m still upright.

Wednesday agreed that a nap was a good idea ;-). Anoreth has been at the stable all day; she’s going to stink when she gets home.
I decided I didn’t feel up to making the Chickpea Dish for supper and told Bill to thaw the hot dog buns. If DP doesn’t like it, he can eat out. Now I’m going to look at some music for tonight, before I have to lie down again.

We lived close enough to the racetrack that through the spring and summer, we always came home smelling of horse. Good memories.
I ate hot dogs today, but I ate them cold, with mustard. Because that’s how I wanted them!!
It’s probably a good thing no one else lives with me.

I bought the hot dogs for Friday, but they started eating them yesterday. I figure we might as well just have them tonight, or they’ll all be gone and I’ll still have 24 buns in the freezer! We can have the chickpea dish on Friday.

I just got the hot dogs because I wanted them! LOL!
Of course, now, I’m wishing I’d had some dip for them...they are coming back to haunt me! :o]

DP took Bill and went to eat out. They’re too Special for hot dogs. Whatever ...
I picked out music for our practice tonight (major accomplishment). We’re not playing until the 24th, so we should be able to learn a new song or two.

LOL!
It’s a guy-thing. DP should be more used to it, by now.
Hot dogs (to me) are “special” because I just don’t think about them very often.
So when I get them, I eat them any way I want to. If I don’t have buns for them...ohwell! They heat just fine in the microwave and I can put what I want on them!

I laid in a supply of canned Vienna sausages. When I want a quick snack, I open a can, put mustard on them, and eat them with saltine crackers.
Because that’s how I like them ...
T-C, that poem upthread has a natural rhythm to it reminiscent of a waltz. It could easily be rendered as a song.
I was even wondering what it would look like translated into Spanish.

If it were female, my first choice would be pregnant.
Achy joints? Headache? Disorientation?
Take him to the nearest doctor.
Do not pass GO! Do not collect $200 dollars.
If nothing else, try to spoon some chicken broth down him.

Not a good morning here. Some miscommunications with China, for which I got blamed. (I couldn't figure out the request, sent it to peers on the committee that should respond... and there it died. I must have been traveling at the time because I didn't file it away, which is something I'd normally do.) Not a good start on top of a slow start.
Had a society luncheon downtown Seattle which managed to eat up most of the day, between getting down there and back on the bus. And then the topic wasn't exactly as I was led to believe -- had I known exactly what it was I wouldn't have gone... but at least it turned out to be worthwhile.

Repeat as needed.
