So now Im up. I have no idea why. Same here, except it's half-past 10 by my clock. Despite being up way too late -- (re-)reading "Atlas Shrugged," except that I'm in a section I simply do not recall from my first reading almost 40 years ago: the collapse of America.
It's more than a little annoying how elements of it *resemble* the situation today -- government running industry. They're apparently making a movie from the book; I really doubt they're going to stick to the story but if they do and finish the project (if the gummint allows them to) there could be a lot of hopping mad folks out there.

"Movie? TV? ST? ST:tng? ST:ds9? ST:v? ST:e?" Well, in those inimitable words, "Computer... show me the Enterprise, no A, no B, no C, and no bloody D!"
Awesome!

No hints. Just stating a FACT!
As soon as I have breakfast, I’m heading for the store.
LOL!
Be back later!

Most of our computers work on a binary system.
‘Face’s computer works on a quandary system.

Hi, folks! Our internet connection was snafu this morning, and DP was out with some people running, so I did housework and then had to go to bed for the afternoon.
I convinced the guys to work on the lawn by telling them I would do it myself on Monday if they didn’t get their rears in gear ;-). With audible whirring of gears and a few puffs of smoke, they cogitated that they’d find it very inconvenient if I had the baby on Tuesday, and got to work!
Whatever it takes, as we used to say about making the numbers add up in my former Place of Employment.

LOL!
That’s a good thing about the late-stage pregnancy: threats work!!
Do you have plans for a Happy Mother’s Day? Like breakfast in bed?
Having Mass brought to you?
Having the remote for the entire day to zap people into obedience?

I’ll look into getting a cattle prod at the farm-supply store ;-).
Just the usual stuff tomorrow. We’re playing for Mass in the afternoon without enough practice, as usual. The girls brought me some flowers from the neighbors’ landscaping!

Thoughtful girls!
I’ll go to church to honor my mother, but I suspect that will be the high point of my day. My son might call, but my daughter will remain absent.
That’s OK. She’s done it before, and we both survived.
I may even go sit in the sun after church!
As a kid, I always got money from my mom to give her a Mother’s Day present, and they were such “unusable” things!! She took the present gracefully, though.
